This might be good for people that get sweaty palms as it probably provides a textured grip.
People that think they should wait on picking up games or systems months (or years) after when the company is in ruins or the community is crap should look at the gamers in Brazil because they REALLY believe in supporting and playing their video games. They invest the money and probably time in going to the few places where video games are going on.
edit: Also, if you want to fight for better pricing of video games in Brazil; go live there and/or tell Sony, Micrsoft, etc abo...
Someone who has owned a PSP for years and has anticipated the PS Vita long before it was announced in 2011 should not be thrown in that arguement. Making such a generalization just makes the author look like the idiot.

Why would (certain) gamers not like the PS Vita when the people that make the games they like, all like the PS Vita? WHERE IS THE DISCONNECT?
It does not really matter if some of what the guy said is dumb, the intent is pure. He was basically aying "I really like this machine because it brings me some joy".
The intent is good and that is what the PS Vita needs more of. Normal people with good intentions saying, "F*ck yeah! This thing rocks!".
Ugh, never mind this is the N4G commenters box (I am arguing at). Places like these pretty much skewer anyone with good intentions. Not th...
The PS Vita is already a bargain, and Sony is basically passing the savings onto you. Deductive logic shows that the money you spend will be given back to you.
I am not kidding, btw.
*first n4g comment comes from a person who states he will not buy a PS Vita unless it is $50 USD*
Holy crap that is funny. Also, "Brosy" wrote his comment about 30 minuets before this article was approved. That is some high quality "trolling" (as the kids say).
All this crap and I have not even read the article, yet! I think I will do that now. :)
With Kazuo Hirai as CEO, he now has (basically) the same power over Sony as Satoru Iwata has with Nintendo. Hirai has stated himself the PS Vita will have the 10 year lifespan and that first parties and partnerships from third parties will play a key role in the PS Vita brand resonating with people that enjoy the compelling software experiences on the PS Vita.
With the constant original IP idea rip-offs from already rich mobile gaming companies, overpriced microtransactions from most mobile games, and media outlets that can only boast the current mediocracy of mobile gaming; mobile gaming needs the sentiment from a gamer who likes to invest in tactile hardware and software with creativity.
So, I truly wish mobile gaming "all the best".

I will bookmark the link and set my alarm clock! :)
In terms of sales, I have to wonder whether the "Ridge Racer" strategy would have worked where it was pay as you go for levels and stuff.
I really want to buy and play this game but, a platformer for +$30 might be a hard sell.
I like the fact that this game knows it is ironic and from what I can tell, the fighting is fine and the AR works great.
I do need more info on how the fighting feels.
This is all speculation made by the author (mainly) based off an interview with the PS Vita designer. The designer had to work with SCE engineers to settle on a functional depth size.
Also, NO OTHER WEBSITE has ever published (or found hard facts) that Sony is "hard at work" building a new PS Vita model. It could be the case but, this author has no evidence to support that claim.
Again, the author is purely speculating about a PS Vita based off min...
Strangely enough, the ost of this game appeals to me more than anything.
The composer for "One Piece" is in this.
My favorite. Monsters are really only there to do harm, I will do you the favor of shooting them down so they do not snarl and eat you later.
You can thank me but, it is hardly necessarily.

Also, I am a proud geek. That is how I know this. :)
Or am I going to have to? *cracks knuckles*
This is pretty much homebrew in comparison to the utilities Sony is handing out devs. The official tools will be able to use the following with next gen remote play software:
-front touch
-back touch
-Six axis
-Camera
-etc
I imagine some more in-depth "Remote Play 2" features will come soon after launch.
"The NGP/Vita was officially announced to a collective meh."

Way to really research things. Though, when all the candidates are Nintendo games this is obviously going to be a bias award.
Which means EVERYTHING for the success of the PS Vita. Apologies if people in the US, EU and elsewhere feel slighted by the thought of less marketing of the PS Vita but, sucess of the PS Vita in Japan is pertinent.

The majority of hardware sales
