Are you a nice human?
I think only nice humans play this game. It's quite a game, you know?
There's no real analtics I've seen from Nyko that go into detail about how they scientifically test the product under various conditions and environments. How it works when attatched. Without attatched. With the SKU fan on or off.
Until I see these kind of raw numbers, I'd say don't take anyones word on this being "useful".
@Tekolie:
"$199 for the Gear VR unit, not counting the cost of the Note 4 smartphone, which is rumored to retail for $799"

Not sure what one has to do with the other.
But, anyway, the VITA's remote-play will be outnumbered by Android devices (once remote-play for Xperia .pkg gets untapped and cloned to rootable android devices).
So these things are like pie in the face of both companies, imo.
@darthv72: Relative to what? I was the first comment on that sub and I wrote "slow news day?". I look at the feedback around that and it only affirms the fact ...
@Kastro:
Did you plan on buying one? If so, that's the joke. That you payed a thousand dollars for this crap (instead of investing real VR equipment or buying PS4+waiting for Project Morpheus.)
Got this thing is gunna SUCK. :P
Hey, if you don't mind me asking: How much is your speed where your at? (Not at your home but where you remote-play when your away from the PS4 and connect through online)>
Just curious since I plan on getting a PS4 when the deluge of JRPG's for it come out, and I want to play those on VITA while away from the house. Thanks! ^_^
Slow news day?
@jamstorr86:
Anyone who's short on spending cash isn't suddenly going to shell out on a non-essential gaming accessory that some people online say is 'unique' or 'fun' (yet, completely dependent on only your word bc the nature of the devices intimate usage). That's the truth and you and everyone else knows this about VR.
I've never used a VR HMD. I know some (not everything) about VR, I've known and spoken with others who h...
Too rich for my blood. VR still isn't a cheap enough hobby as it needs to get to motion control price range to really absorb a large demographic and keep traction.
This is true. The boundaries are getting more and blurred -- between AAA and indie specifically, in the west -- as content becomes digital and more accessible and online-focused marketing becomes smarter. Not to mention tools and resources for making games becoming smarter and more of them.
On The VITA PS Store, Velocity 2X is ALREADY sitting at 468 user ratings (and @ a 4.5 star rating). It's free on PS Plus too so, that kind of blurs the units shipped. It wouldn't s...
The best quality Japanese games and Indie games:
I knew the VITA's library follow the (aforementioned) blueprint BEFORE the device even launched. How+Why others bought and/or now complain, [about the content not being their AAA console games] I have no freaking idea.
Whatever. There will be ignorant and loudmouths all over the internet. And getting mad about every VITA cynic/hater 'till the cows come home wont do anyone much good. I say just play the ...
wtf. Seriously wtf.
wtf. wtf. wtf.
I'm here with a thick textbook...
wtf
wth are you talking about?
If you have a VITA or PS3, then go with P4G or the P4 one that works on PS3 that's on PSN. Not sure about the latters subtitled name (since I don't own console though). Sorry.
Android runs off linux, so any and all software can be re-purposed to work on a phone of any similar specs. And the brunt of the work is video decoding (on the part of the client phone/tab) so, I'd imagine any phone from the past 2 years could run the app.
Well see if the theory is proven wrong, but if PSM could be run on non-PS certified devices then it's looking like any new rooted phone would be able to do this too.
edit: Calm your moobs, disagree...
Yep.
Btw, here's how anyone could get PSM working on a (non Playstation certified) Android device: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Don't worry to those who (like me) are too cheap to buy the X3 when it first launches. 'Cause, ya, Remote-play for Android will 99.999% find it's way onto other (rootable) Android devices via "hacker methods". Don't listen to ma...
Interesting.
lol, this what one Sony esec had to say (regarding it coming elsewhere to mobile),
"NO INTENT TO BRING IT TO ANYTHING OTHER THAN XPERIA DEVICES"
Ahem. Excuse me while I wait for the hacked solution wherein any rooted phone can do remote-play from here on out:

What's funny is that if you open up a discussion about sex to those in your social circle; it's really fascinating and fun. You get to know a whole new side of people you didn't know and it's funny and totally awesome what people say and think when it comes to sex.
Back onto the game though, it's pretty interesting (now that I think of it) if a VR game can really capture that feeling of a first meeting and/or "date". I think some people would act...
300mb? That is not much weight. :P
