This is almost certainly going to be used for a next gen PS console (if it comes out).

Edit: Also, I do not think the document actually called it the 'Eyepad'.

Ah, I see. Something like that would probably need to be more seemless though bc the PSP go still required still going to a menu and loading up the save state.

It would be better if you just had that kind of save state turned into a savestate movie in the live area and you can select them that way.

You want save states? That's so arbitrary. Well, I guess if you play p4tg or something where a savespot is not convenient...even than the games developer could add in a seperate autosave feature in the game.

The lowering of price barrier is extremely crucial for any product with a long lifespan.

Pricing schemes are SO important that we see high priced Android tablets price themselves out of market if they are just $50-100 more than the competitors (and the competitors is something like an officially backed Google, Amazon, etc product).

There IS an existing middle ground that SCEWW must (and probably already does) acknowledge where their products need to be mark...

Summer is actually prety good. KZ:M wil be out later than that, so this game would have all the momentum of an E3 stuff going to it.

Maybe, closer to TGS would also be a good idea bc it will sell better there on VITA. Attach rates for VITA games are actually really good in Japan (like "Ragnarok Odyssey").

Personally, I want a Belgian chef to come with my PS4.

My only complaint is that this will raise SKU prices at retail.

Considering not everyone would own a Sony TV that has a camera, it seems logical to have a SKU where a camera is bundled.

Hopefully, it does not raise prices or (if it does raise prices) there is a SKU w/ out the new camera for a lower price.

Uh, I do not like the sound of this camera being bundled and ratcheting (no pun intended) the price of the PS4 SKU's higher than it would be if it where just the console and the new DS controller.

That being said, I hope to buy a PS4 an I hope to be utterly blown away by the PS4 games.

I already knew about the historical background and how you felt about it.

I was just saying that more people got into the game because the characters you hate.

Surely, you can see the worth in that.

Dante and Big Daddy are two of the more iconic, noticeable characters in All-Stars roster. Just the other day, two of my friends saw me playing the game on VITA and noticed Raiden, Big Daddy, and Dante.

If anything, All-Stars DLC should add at least one more big third party iconic name from the current gen. (Not sure who that would be though)

I don't claim to be an expert on such dealings, but it would seem that if hardware on both is the same (both rumored to have some AMD chipset) than it comes down to a similar API implementation.

This means, middleware and multiconsole development studios could cut off the fat and make games faster, better, and under budget.

(Again, this is hypothetically speaking.)

Sony has yet to release any PR statements regarding next gen rumors, nor have Sony released any PR statements regarding things like this trademark filing.

All this stuff is literally like a speakeasy situation where Sony are (behind the scenes) doing things to prep for next gen while "insiders" are leaking things out to the general public (aka regular people like us on n4g).
