I must have completely missed that announcement
Dude relax, I was just trying to be helpful
Gaikai...
I also imagine it will be something like that
Yes and that is why they put a Blu-Ray drive in the system. Lord help humanity
Kotaku...
I don't think they care as much about you as you might be hoping. Good luck with finding another next-gen console experience then
God bless you son :/ PS3 had then-new Blu-Ray, Cell processor, pointless card readers and PS2 hardware. Not to mention NO subscription-based online like PS+ which is fields of money for Sony. I expect a $399 release. Sony lost $200+ off every PS3 sold. If they sell PS4 for $399 they will lose $100 max, while making money from the PS3, PS+ and first-party game sales
Animal Mutha, that little bit of ED RAM won't make the RAM nearly as powerful as PS4's RAM. Imagine pouring water into a bucket from a Coke bottle. If you poke an extra, small hole in it the bucket will fill up faster, but if the top of the Coke bottle is twice as big (PS4), it will go WAY faster
I tried to not say this, but seeing as this is the fourth time you're hammering on about it - just shut the fuck up? The games are being designed on a PC. For the PS4. Same hardware, same end visuals.
I think they will make the price around $450 and rely on software sales and PS+ to earn any money they will potentially lose. They don't need to make any profit off the consoles, considering they publish most of the system's launch titles. All in all, I think the PS4 has a strong future ahead of it
Definitely not $599. I will be surprised if it's more than $450. I think they are promoting the networking as strongly so it can help offset the losses of the console sales because they want to sell it at a low price point
Wait what?
I don't think any of them can mess up so badly that this gen goes to Nintendo
You high bro?
More like Sony's hang is a 10, J, Q and K of the same suite. Wait for E3 and we'll see the Ace ;)
^^ Are you even watching it? :/
8GB of GDDR5 RAM. I think the video card will be around 2GB.
Edit: Note that it's GDDR5, not DDR5. DDR5 is around 7 years away. DDR4 hasn't even been released het
Xbox 360 has 512MB and PS3 has 256MB. Also, GDDR5 is graphics memory which is typically much, much faster than normal DDR3. So yes, it's damn good
It will offer retail games you imbecile. And will obviously be discounted for PS+ users
