I hope this is a wake up call to the industry to start stepping up their game and produce true next-gen games. I think it start with KZ2. That game should definitely start lighting fires under some lazy dev @sses. It's a good time to be a gamer.
That's what the price hike would be all about. Now your paying to use Facebook, Twitter, and Last FM on your 360. What if I don't use those services? Why do I have to pay twice as much? Online play? Cross-game/party chat? Ridiculous! If this happens, I'm not renewing my XBL account. This is gonna snowball into something very bad for M$. You'll see them change their tune real quick once that happens. We'll see what the future holds.

It took ND 18 MONTHS to make UC2 and it came out phenomenally. Just another fact going towards the "360 is holding back PS3" argument but we'll see. Your right, there should be no excuse for a 360 exclusive like Alan Wake to bad.
I can't wait to see how this turns out. If M$ seriously raises the price of XBL, I could already see the users base get cut down significantly. They would raise the price just because you can use Facebook, Twitter, and other things that you can access through the PS3 for FREE??? Good luck with that.
I'm just waiting for this coming year to see if this is true. Right now I haven't seen anything that great (graphically speaking) from the 360. UC2 and especially KZ2 are just bar raisers when it comes to graphics. I'd like to see if the 360 can produce that kinda look. Like I said earlier, this year I want to see what the 360 will produce. Man, it is insanely annoying to read these "All your base are belong to us!" translated articles. Did they make any good point in this article because I stopped reading after the first half of the first paragraph. I'll be picking up a copy of UC2 soon. I really like the MP. At first I thought it would be just tacked on but, after playing the beta, I'm totally hook on it. Can't wait!

I was having problems with that too. You have to be real gentle with it. I hope they don't come out with a compatible HDD with the PS3 with like a TB of space. I'll get tempted and switch my 500GB HDD (or atleast try but it'll be a b!tch to do.)
Why not just buy the $299 Slim, buy a cheap 500GB laptop HDD, and swap out the HDDs (can you do that with the Slims?) I did that with my PS3 60GB model. More space, BC with PS2/PS1, very good investment.
I think it would be a little cheaper to just buy a regular PS3 Slim and just buy a 500GB laptop HDD (there not very expensive. I bought 1 for my PS3 60GB model). Then just install that on the PS3 (quick question: with the Slim, can you swap out HDDs?) If the 250Gb is bundled with UC2, then I guess it's worth the money. I just like to have more room just in case.
Logic dictates that, if you've already bought all the Add-On's separately, then no. If you didn't, sure you should buy it. If you have the original game, just sell it and put that money and a little bit more towards the GOTY edition. I'd like to play those extra stories, level up some more, and be able to run around in the Captial Wasteland after I beat the game so that's what I'm gonna do. LIBERTY PRIME FTW!!

They're the same. Why did they even bother? Why do people keep doing this? What does it matter? I don't care if one game is darker than the other or if the other game is more colorful.
