Oooooohhhh... Lego LotR! Want now!
@Kaos
As crazy as this sounds, I kinda valued my Wii, late in life at least, for not having a reward structure in place. It reminded me that I played games for the sheer fun of it and that I didn't need to constantly be checking an achievement list to see what I should or should not be doing at any given moment.
That being said, you're right- you are technically getting less for your money if you buy a third-party game on WiiU. Maybe it's really n...
Skype has been so much worse since Microsoft bought it, but even that can't keep TPV down!
Great mock political ad in the beginning of the show!
Complaints about Luigi's Mansion!?
Make no bones about it- if you like action flicks, all of that's in there. I think this is the route the History Channel should go with all future documentaries.
Scares a la classic Resident Evil and gameplay akin to Demon's/Dark Souls? Sign me up!
Couldn't agree more. There is so much more venom now than there ever has been.
Is that energy drink for real?
Great article. This is the sort of challenge that I imagine a decent chunk of the industry finds as a reality. Instead of treating it like an EA or Activision, Tantalus chose honesty over all. Excellent.
@GraveLord
Why would you even want a Mario game running at vanilla 1080p anyway? I'd much rather have 720p with MSAA and V-Sync, etc. That's basically how Uncharted: Drake's Fortune visually bested almost everything that came before it's time... IN 720P.
Won't it just be upscaled 560p again like every console, every year? This is hardly news...
@decrypt
I fail to see why it has to be a huge leap FOR THE INDUSTRY. The real point is that Nintendo's tradition of a rigid heritage is slowly starting to fall away. Day and date digital releases, a hunger for third-party titles and now being frank and transparent from a technical aspect about their new hardware may not seem important to jaded gamers, but it IS significant in the way that Nintendo operates it's day-to-day business.
What does this have to do with (Xbox 360) in the title? *??*
@dedicatedtogamers
You said it right there- MOMMY'S Android or iPhone. No one in their right mind would buy a kid a state-of-the-art mobile device, especially one that's outdated in a year. I'm not saying that those folks don't exist, but a Vita or 3DS guarantees 4-5 years of of not having to cling to the blind Apple sheep 10-month upgrade cycle.
The only difference I saw was that the particle systems on the large smokestack off in the distance seemed to populate differently.
Bongo the Sane and MurphysLaw were good interviews. They really seem to be gung-ho for Extra Life!
Agreed. Haters can hate, but I'm getting kinda excited.
Can I just pay for cheevos and trophies already!?
That tiny415 sure is a slacker!
