Infinity Ward with the respawn staff was an amazing 3rd party developer. I'm not surprised dedicated fans are disappointed they have decided to stop being open to both console makers.
After supporting and loving their games for years, they've decided that my support is not worth the money M$ paid for exclusivity.

Who cares who made the OS... it's the fact that the Xbone can't run it at 1080p.
The PC version will run much better, and so since it's not available on the more capable PS4 it would be silly to purchase for the Xbone.
They did that thinking that the consoles were going to initiate used game DRM's. I think they screwed themselves there trying to come out first and appear as good guys. They would not have made that move if they'd have known how much backpedalling the Xbone would have to do.
With the game being an XBone exclusive I'm surprised they were only able to get it to 720p. Especially, considering it's not even a launch title. The game will be badass, and I will get it for my PC. So no qualms with the game, but it really says that Microsofts development tools, hardware, and/or OS are really lagging behind right now.

Well if EA and Respawn are going to turn their back on Sony and the PS4... I'll have to make sure and avoid their games in the meantime.
Supporting developers who don't make their games available to my system would be ignorant. It'd be pretty close to a "Lay down and you will get walked on" situation.
Most people would rather play it at 1080p / 60 fps... Unfortunately, that's not currently possible on the Xbone. So this is a must buy for PC... and a last gen romp on the xbone one.
Personally, I mainly just see difference in the detail level within sections of black color.
The PS4 clearly keeps the detail better in darker graphics areas.
It's better that all this gets discussed ahead of time instead of people coming out furious afterwards.
In the end we're all gamers and it sucks when your new hardware or software doesn't work when you get it home.

I've only played for about an hour so far, but I have to say I'm having a lot of fun on this one. Definitely not nearly as good as a console version. But for portable gaming, a superhero fan like myself, is pretty damn happy.

Anyone who doesn't think they'll notice a power difference down the road is crazy. At launch Sony is already pulling ahead with a lot of years left to go on the upcoming consoles. Oh Microsoft you screwed the pooch on this one... again... today... again... screwing... the... pooch.
Regardless of how it will run on the Xbone, they aren't building confidence by constantly doing damage control. I'm sure the system is powerful enough, but I just don't think the Xbone was ready for release in 2013.

I can't believe that the Call of Duty Ghosts numbers are so close between consoles. Only 30,000 apart even though Microsoft throws down tons of bucks for the month of early release on all DLC. Which just pisses Sony customers off !!!
I don't share my phone either... if you want a device, go get one. But bitching they didn't design a personal portable device for multiple people ... makes sense to me.
I thought that trailer was pretty bad too, and while I'll admit I might buy this turd. I know better ... there's going to be no story and I watched 10 minutes of gameplay and had no desire to be handed the controller.
But many PS4 exclusives will blow the doors off the third party titles and the xbone exclusives.
