I like my Vita so much more than my buddies 3DS... it's just shocking to me that the sales aren't opposite.
I am an older consumer, but honestly, I know lots of guys my age who still game.
I just don't get it... graphics, controls, and the range of titles are all preferable on the Vita.
And personally, I didn't think it was just too expensive for the experience I get. It's high quality tech for someone who prefers the...
Well that's pretty much the final bit of proof that the Xbone has been overpriced from the beginning. Look there without the Kinect all the sudden there is a $100 of wiggle room.
So sorry for all you early adopters... the value of your purchase has already been downgraded in the eyes of the manufacturer.
And think the Xbone is still lesser hardware.
I enjoyed the Single Player but thought it was majorly weaker in plot then the other GOW outings. The combat did improve in many fun ways. But everything else was just an update on the same.
Check the PSLS review to get a better feel for this game!!!
I don't think the score should be quite this low... BUT... at least the reviewers did a GREAT job balancing this review. Hardware considerations and port considerations have been made... but more importantly it was compared to other portable games, including other Vita games. Well Done Guys !!!
I'm currently banned from IGN because I told them how sick of their Vita games' reviews I was...
So many great games for FREE from PS+ ... but one memory card has more games than I can play in a week.
So it's definitely a 1st world problem. :-)
Memory cards aren't cheap but honestly games usually aren't FREE.
This is what the extra year of development can open up for us.
God of War on the Vita... OH HELL YES !!!
I love COD campaigns... No B.S. questing or fetching ammo missions. It goes straight into the red zone and gets intense. The graphics are always stellar and the intensity is set on high.
I think Titanfall was a bit boring and I've not been able to push myself to go back to it. It's attempt at a campaign was just background noise... no substance.
I like multiplayer but it would be incredibly same-old-same old if it the maps didn't tie in wit...
I have to agree there is just no excuse other than greed why M$ doesn't have the Games with Gold program up to speed yet.
And the point I see everyone making about how Sony is doing a fantastic job with three systems for Playstation Plus, yet Microsoft can't get last gen's program up to snuff still. It's pretty lame.
While the article asks the reader to overlook the additional value added by the Vita games... that doesn't mean we have...
I use my Vita several times a week, while waiting for clients at job sites. I'm thrilled with my purchase, and have a modest backlog of games already.
You want great tech you gotta support the companies that are trying to develop new and more advanced products.
Sony does the world's product research and development.
As far as portable video game systems go the Vita has the best graphics and the most functional control features... Dual analog stick and touchscreen. This is why every indie game fits the Vita. It's the best portable option.
Oh my god, they give us some many games with PS+ ... it's just bullshit to whine about having too many great games to play. Do we want games to play or not ? I think the guy who scribbled out the article just likes to moan and groan on the internet. What a stupid thing to gripe about!!!
The card hasnt' been $100 for at least a year now.
Stop trolling.
Restructuring is smart when it realigns your development teams with your goals. Sony is on FIRE right now and they want to make sure it stays that way. GOOD !!!
Phil Spencer is a major improvement... However, the games for gold program for Xbone must not have been in the works at all for it to be 5 months later and still nothing.
How did Microsoft get so far behind on this 'next-gen' ?
I would strongly prefer to continue having games that touch upon Mature and Adult themes. This game is rated for adults, not kids.
I didn't think Ground Zeroes was a great game, but I have no problem with it engaging in themes common in humanity and/or war.
The service is nearly ridiculous with value for the gamer. I regularly stare at the offerings of the month and wonder how they make any money off of this. Or how they ever sell new retail games while giving away a year's worth of playing for free.
I'm amazed by PS+ again and again.
I'm stoked about the homepage improvement to holding 500 apps. I've been over 100 on two of my memory cards for awhile now, and that's been a lil bit annoying.
The Vault case is by far my favorite... it actually feels secure when you snap it shut. Very satisfying durability, feeling, and 'secure close' sound.
The console games on the go idea really died more than a year ago. It's really been all about smaller title, indies, and ports. However, Killzone Mercenary and Tearaway were the biggest AAA titles. Both were great games anyway.
