i mite pick this up. personally i reali enjoyed this game, it wasnt much RPG but for the most part i thought what it did, it did well :-). In terms of shooting iv played much worse.
i assumed trophies would be the norm in all new ps3 games and apparently 70% of previously released games. announcing this is like announcing that a game on 360 will have achievements.
And in relation to ur ''lazy developers'' comment, i am enclined to agree with you there as well. it does get annoying when u hear loads of people talking about lazy or bad developers for the reason behind some ps3 games. my only question is if ur all gona b!tch about it - CAN YOU DO BETTER?
to grasp what exactly this game is about, but all things considered it looks quite good as well as being on a handheld.
if u want a ffvii remake start thinking about 2011-12 becus all the team wud need to be together from the first one (this has already been stated), and the development time of it wud take at least 3 years judging by the dev time of any other AAA games on ps3.

made a 50GB game that had to sell at least 1,000,000 copies day 1 to make a profit. with games development being on average 10-40 million dollars a pop, don't look forward to seeing these being used any time soon.

but i dont think it can, otherwise it may have been done by now. kojima was limited to 50GB (i use this example as he is the only one to use full capacity so far). i may be wrong but im pretty sure the laser in ps3 can only read dual layer blu.

msoft wudnt be able to buy the more well known big developers - not due to financial contraints - due to the fact that if they did i think they wud get some serious hindering from the other companies.
but i would say the smaller, less mainstream companies, most definately. i mean if you think about every games developer from insomniac to bioware were small and unknown at one point and look where they are now due to mainstream support. small doesnt mean untalented.
i think they shud be left to PC gaming.
BUT......if you have the hard drive put in the system specifically for it then id say why not lol cant exactly hurt can it.
maybe they could tone them down in size a bit that part is true but for the most part i have nothing against them.
