am i the only one who thinks that sonys trophy system is all over the place. They should make it mandatory if they want it to really take off.
but all else aside i have to agree with him lol. He does sound bitter and isnt advertising too human very well, but when it comes to hyped up games, he has a point, to much is expected. It gets to the point where it seems like its easy to forget that these are just video games to some people, which is unfortunate.
The only thing about this game that has been around for 10 years is the concept. It has only been in dev for about 2 1/2 years. The next time you or someone else says that it has been in dev for 10 years ask yourself this - when was the 360 made? it would actually be physically impossible to have had this in development on the 360 for 10 years.
Honestly if i hear about this whole ''in dev for 10 years'' - ill post an article clearing that whole misinterpretation up lol.
i wudnt worry about it my friend, the 360 final version of the game only had about 2 1/2 years. The rest of the decade was spend going through different concepts. From what i can gather, the original game concept for the ps1 isnt much like the final piece.
Add in the ease of use of the 360 for devs and i reckon theres a good chance all 3 will be this gen, mainly becus of how they have said u can use your save file from the previous installments in 2 and 3 to get your level upto...
and if you take away that i was playing it at 2am, i have to say i enjoyed it. Its not going to be a perfect 10 because the gameplay isnt for everybody. It was a bit buggy here and there but i assume it wasnt completely finished code. But im a big fan of the looting system and will probably end up playing it many times through to get all the the rarer/stronger weapons, but as i say thats just me.
Im hoping that once u finish the game u can start it again on a harder difficulty ...
It sounds to me like what has happened is that you have played crisis and now want every game to be at that level.
In regards to your technological progression statement, what me and mike are trying to say is that we are all for evolution, but at a slower more realistic rate. We don't want to have to go from dual core to octa-core over night. There is nothing wrong with going with technology at a rate the is suitable for urself as an individual. Maybe for you that means having ...
it takes a much more talented developer to make more run on less, rather than just shove it all together and tel u that u need to be running an fbi super computer to play it.
to CViper - do you atually enjoy upgrading ur pc just for the sake of one game here or there?
I mean for example crysis is widely known as the most graphical video game to date, but as great as the graphics are, i honestly thought the game was just so-so at best.
Thats just on...
because they know for a fact that every person who buys it will have exactly the same system (give or take a bit for different sku's).
In PC development, its the developers job to make the game run on the lowest spec hardware possible and scale it up from there. If every game required a quad core extreme to run, do you think they would be thousands/millions of people rushing out to buy it?
This is the one advantage console gaming will always have over pc gaming ...
but im liking the look of it. Although even i will admit i dont think i would enjoy using the 360 d-pad to play this.
this little screen is a step into the portable console business yet for pretty much every wii game (or was it the main screen i cant remember), a little warning comes up on screen telling you to have room to comfortably stretch your arms out lol.....my point is - try doing that in a car lol, or in fact in any form of transport.
Im not entirely sure what the point is in these screens. I suppose theres a small market for them, but god knows, iv never brought one and as a matter o...
but how can you possibly say which titles 'will' and 'wont' do what? you can maybe state that 'you think' these things will happen, but you can't speak for events that havent actually happened yet.
that a big part of msofts strategy seems to be in regular price cuts.
That tells me for:
1) They know the demand is slewing slightly.
2) They know they were charging to damn much in the first place lol.
3) If they cut it to much to fast they stand a chance of making their product look 'cheap', to alot of people knowing that you are getting a classy product - even if based on pricing and/or value for money, is a key value when they buy.
sure who disagreed with my last comment but would whoever it was be manly (or womanly) enough to come forward and tel me why? i wasn't aware i stated anything that wasn't true?? If i did i am more than willing to accept it lol.
of course it was going to happen. Sony doesnt own blu-ray as they only co-produce it.
And Sony and microsoft are workng together in other projects too....

that article proves that in one sense the two companies know that working with each other is beneficial. Theyre only in direct competition in the console market, wh...
the more options or money in home u have. I wonder if they actually thought of that at sony becus its actually a very good idea. Altho it wud be an isuue if they dont stabilise the trophy system becus to me at this moment in time it seems a bit all over the place.
ever month of the year they arent going to sell more than microsoft in the long run. Theyre selling very well monthly now but theyre catching up to slowly.
I don't know y but i think when the new 360 dashboard comes through there cud be a little surge in sales, purely becus when they display the 360's (and ps3's) on tv's in shops, the average parent buying it for their child will see it as looking like the more appetising option, as in msofts favor, it does look alot more frien...
no offense but it alomost sounds like u took that personally lol. I suppose neither of u were right reali becus they were both just opinions on whats fair and what isnt.
or maybe just the quality of the screenshots but I wud say that they look better than the conduit does lol.
Maybe there just shouting about graphical quality becus they look very good when u compare them to other wii games.
but when he went over his predictions did he say by 2011 ps2 would be at 90 million units?, as i say i may be wrong but didnt it already pass that milestone a while back?
x
but dont most JRPGs go onto multiple disks becus of the customary CGI japanese devs insist on using in their games.
