that later gen ps2 games stil manage to own anything the wii has, even tho the wii is like twice as powerful.
do start to get a little boring to me after a while, thats not to say the games target audience wont swallow it up lol.
im not a big graphics whore fan, i love retro gaming lol, but is it me or is this (if u take into account the art style) looking like the most detailed game on wii for a while - looking at the grass textures and wot not.
looks like it cud be fun tho.

i am aware this sort of thing has been happening in industries for quite soem time, but for it to happen in an industry fuelled by the idea of having fun, an industry with so many children as well as adults, is simply wrong.
there a re a sad minority of people out there whoz lives quite literally revolve around games to the point of making them religious.
i couldn't care what score a game got or who gave it, making threats of any kind over something so trivial is nothing short of pathetic.
the ironic thing is these threats were only made over the internet which would lead me to believe it is just some 13 year old ''nerd'' who is short of a wet dream or two and needs to grow up fast.
for the biggest game (file size) without the use of CGI. that would be funny although i do have to admit i think alot of it is due to uncompressed (as if we havent heard that word alot lately) 5.1 surround sound through-out. its a great thing to improve the game but a real space guzzler lol.

fanboys saying how R2 is better with 60 player online and 8 player co-op. i wudnt even want to consider playing gears with 60 players..heres an example...arrive on battle field - beat enemy - get shot - respawn - get shot - respawn...and u get the idea, that many players for gears wud put me off.
i read someone saying xbox live cudnt do 60 player onl...
just a year ago companies were going mad to gloat about their latest and greatest, now they cant do enough to almost keep peoples expectations low.
that says to me that either people were way over compensating what they thought this gen of gaming was going to bring and the companies couldnt live upto it - or they wana make there games seem just ''ok'' so that when u play it u seem amazed lol i think its a bit of both.

the 360 hasnt really had alot of very good press lately, it hasnt had bad press i just havent heard anything wild about it in a while lol.
maybe msoft are taking another route by keeping things back and dropping some sort of hype bomb on everyone. i mean what better way is there to do that than to showcase two new games that absolutely nobody new about. and if theyre apparently ''big'' titles then this is gona turn out to be interesting.

but in regards to the metal gear pic (i know this is off topic lol), i wud urge anyone who wants to play metal gear to download it for the MSX (the download comes with the game and emulator for it). the nes version of MG comes completely gimped - there isnt even a metal gear in it - it went through alot of downgrades on the nes (major ones) without kojimas consent.
