^bubs for having common sense.
I also disagree with article saying that devs won't fully embrace functionality of kinect if you can turn off.
It's all about how many kinects are in homes, whether or not there's an off switch for games that don't use it.
Also how much did third party devs utilize the wiimote? Nintendo made all the good games for wii, third party support did not embrace the mandatory wiimote anyways, or at least didn't push and innovate gameplay like Ni...
Kinect technically is still mandatory, this news merely says you can unplug it. You will still be forced to buy it as of now.
Here I am thinking dragons were monsters all this time :)
You heard him Sony, push it back so SanMarco can play gta v longer lol.
In US holiday season stretches out further and further every year. Halloween usually kicks it off though.
That wasn't very lovable
I'm skipping xbone for now, but I'll give them credit for recognizing that their consumer was not happy and are trying to make things right by them.
Most negative comments are from people who are going to hate on it no matter what.
I can still rattle off a bunch of things I don't like about m$ and Xbox in general, but giving people more options is not one of them.
Zotaku87
you have a point, but Bioshock 1 had plenty of hype behind it, I remember being very excited for it waiting for release. The slower sales could be due to the fact that it came early in the new console cycle so less people to sell to.
Im hoping it isnt a prequel
And also whats a bigger threat than reapers?
Slow mo isnt excluded from gta v
I think the use of comic book stills with inner monologue worked really well, they still had the same dialog and grim story, but the presentation wasnt the same.
The story itself isnt worse, if you were to read all three stories of max payne as a book you could argue that the third is the best.
The film genre "Noire" is world war 2 era crime drama in united states, usually dark and grim, but doesnt actually "mean" dark. Just tends to be.
And max payne 3 was refined from red dead redemption mechanics, so there you go
Because N4G
I can snap between TV and videogames already, its called my input button.
Webtv did this more than a decade ago as well.
how many people here have ever heard of webtv? My dad bought one instead of computer, I was not pleased
@mwjw696
while your right that everyone seems to be praising Cerny quite a bit (and mostly because we aren't used to someone sharing as much as he has)
He is a GAME developer, brought in by Sony to be lead architect because they felt that they were ignoring the developers in the last gen.
In a way he is also a symbol of Sony's new direction, and its working.
As far as what hes been doing, hes actually been quite outsp...
Xbox 360 and ps3 owner here
I was early adopter of xbox360 so I got RRoD'd 3 times (2 warranty, 1 repurchase of an xbox arcade edition) so I am not keen on purchasing the first xboxone
I actually think of Kinect as a negative, its what essentially killed xbox360 in the second part of generation for me, exclusives all went out the window for kinect titles. I miss having other exclusives besides the big 3.
Xbox360 was my preferred console ...
i agree with mika....
whats happening to me?
I was a huge Xbox360 fan, and hate everything the Kinect has done to the Xbox brand. Once m$ set their sights on the wii consumer, they lost their way and forgot about their primary consumer.
Now I feel like xbone is the jack of all trades and master of none. In fact it's a lot like their surface tablets (which are struggling). It's a tablet that's also a laptop, but its tablet isn't as good as todays tablets and its not better than laptops, so it gets lost. ...
