i am ps3 player first, but u guys, it isnt as simple as losing a free service for a couple weeks.... its the fact that they didnt encrypt the personal files and credit card numbers because they were cocky.

If you have gamestop near you u could spend 5 bucks for preorder code, and if you dont like game u can switch it to another purchase, so free if you make the effort.

weapons arent more powerful when you have host, you just have an easier time in quick close range battles because of other teams lag.
also the snub pistol is really weak in gears 3, this guy seems to love his pistol. rifles will beat pistol every time. pistol is there for desperation times or using meat shield. the pistol pickups are good, maybe he was referring to those.
