but yes, you get the card, buy a PS3, they give you a 100 credit and you don't get interest for 12 months i think so in that 12months you just pay it off and cut up the card. pretty simple. i tried to do it but i have no credit so i just got roommates to pitch in money to pay for mine.

i personally can't wait for UT3, then Haze, MGS4 and Killzone 2. i will own all of those on my PS3 and finally i'll have more games on it than my 360.

it's going to be very difficult for them to fit the game on a DVD-9 and you still be able to do mods.
i think everyone's forgetting how Epic first said it was going to be difficult to fit all the same maps on the PS3 version like the PC one. guess it's a good thing it's a blu-ray disc.

MGS4 is probably the main reason i own a PS3 next to my 360.
i still think the PS3 will catch up to the 360 at some point in time. there will be no clear winner of this console war.
it's also worth noting that the PS3 apparently doesn't have any games yet it still sold close to what the 360 sold on first year launch even though competing with the 360's huge games library. that has to say something in itself.

a 360 Elite is 449.99 at best buy, that's also where you should be buying it, or a PS3 for that matter, from. i believe the Elite also comes with Ultimate Alliance and Forza Motorsport 2 at no additional costs.
a PS3 from best buy can cost you anywhere from 399.99-549.97, the latter coming with Guitar Hero 3, a guitar, and 2 wireless controllers. the cheaper one comes with the blu-ray movie Spider-man 3.
