i couldn't agree more with this article. '08 still seems to be the year of the PS3 and Blu-ray winning will only boost that.
fuuuck yeah dude, that was bad ass.
bullsh!t. it's going to affect 360 sales if Blu-ray wins.
think about it. if you're in a store and you have a great video games console that can also play HD discs and you have just a great games console...which would you pick? if i didn't already own both and Blu-ray was in when i decided to get one or the other, i'd go with the Blu-ray games console. you hit two birds with one stone.
if HD DVD dies it may not directly affect sales of the 360, but it will indire...
how about start a march to M$ headquarters and ask them what the fuuuck is going on!
i don't think i'd mod my 360 to make it more quiet if it voids any warranty.
i agree with the other guys here saying turn up the volume or put on some music. with surround sound you won't even notice it. is the noise really that big of a deal to everyone? i mean sure it's hella loud compare to my PS3 but i thought we all cared about playing games, not the noise coming from the console.
crazyglues, +bubble dude.
totally agree. Pioneer has plasma hands down.
for those of you that swear up and down that a GOOD 720p tv is not as good as a relatively affordable 1080p, here is a link.
go here, read, do some research for once instead of blurting out crap.

this is for plasma but you can look at LCD too. although if you're a gamer and don't leave your crap paused, plasma is the way to go.
...
what malls do you guys go to? and what crappy brands are you looking at?
you will get better value and just as good a picture out of a good 720p tv versus a 1080p one.
you guys are retarded. with a high end 720p tv you will not see a difference unless you're sitting closer than you should be to the set.
believe it or not, it's your $1000 you'll be wasting, not mine.
fuuuuuuuuuuuck yesssssss!!!!! UT3 on the PS3 just keeps getting better and better.
i don't want it. i just want the ability to send/receive messages, view my friends and that sort of thing. we don't need FULL XMB access right now, just some features.
no dudes, firstknight is right.
Pioneer has a 720p 50" that will blow most other 1080p 50" tvs out of the water, no joke. do your research before buying. i'm getting a 720p. the cost difference between the two is ridiculous when in a few years you could get a really nice 1080p that will be much cheaper and well worth it.
UT3 is awesome!!! i play it for hours at a time. can't get into Mass Effect because of UT3, haha.
MGS4
that's all i have to say, lol.
dude, they are poised to follow TW Inc.
watch. i guarantee it.
no way will the Wii win this console war. no fvcking way. they may have sold more consoles, but look at their crappy attach rate for software. M$ is currently on top but i think Sony will give them a run for their money this year. i really do. there will be more exclusives that i'm going to want to play on my PS3 versus my x360. that's just me though. apparently us Americans are all about the x360 so who knows. who cares really. just play, lol.
LOLZZZ @AdolfBinBush
haha, alright, whatever. how do they plan on doing this with the lacking line up for this year?
i mean i enjoyed my 360 last year but i think i'll play my PS3 more this year and buy more games for it. '08 belongs to PS3 hands down. there's so much crap planned for it i already know i'm going to be completely broke just getting to June.
i've said it before, the competition is great for us gamers!
game on!
"As for any Paramount HD DVD title announcements originally planned for CES, at press time any such plans were "up in the air." Needless to say, we'll keep you posted."
what the hell is that supposed to mean exactly? uhhh, i think it means they're bullsh!tting and are going to go Blu-ray exclusive in the near future. i mean c'mon, enough is enough. 70% versus 30% and Blu-ray was already ahead before Warner picked sides. seems illogical to continue with HD DV...
duh. they weren't ready for the new customers. they knew they weren't ready. a big fuuuck you, M$. glad i don't get on that much anymore.
