Sony is doing their own thing. Of course it's not comparable with a $2 trillion company's Game Pass.
But...base tier Essential games are much better than Xbox Gold joke games. Extra is best option among the three tiers. Premium needs more classic games. The problem with adding games day one is.. you train your fanbase to not buy games and wait till they get added to the service.
