Unfortunately you're half right. Microsoft does own the publishing rights to "Bioware's Mass Effect" but since Bioware was acquired by EA there is seems to be a loop-hole. So if EA wants to make Mass Effect multi it can.
wow........this came out nowhere. a great idea that can be easily integrated into many games especially games like lbp (this could explain the extra month delay) that have strong focus on community. i can also see this being used for home except the vice-versa instead of streaming videos in you apartment from your ps3 you may also be able to stream it off of youtube or link videos from youtube to your apartment.

unfortunately the official gta4 bundle was never announced for north america only europe and australia(i could be wrong. someone please correct me if i am wrong) so it wouldn't effect npd numbers for it represents US numbers. stupid move on sony because it would have sold alot of units but it was a great way to push hardware while introducing gta to an audience outside of north america.
yes gta4 did do well for R* and T2 but even with all its success they still can't shake the crosshair that EA has on them. man EA you guys are just evil.
i too have a wii and i'm just surpised and lil disappointed that its still being overhyped. i mean sure it does have a couple of great games like zelda, metroid, smg, brawl and my favourite wii game no more heroes but for every 1 good game theres like 100 of crappy games. i'm glad that it helped bring gaming to the mainstream but it's because of them that casual gamers are ruining gaming. for f'in sakes, when games like anubis 2 and ninja breadman are released its a sad day for gamers.
as far as gta4 goes its way to close the end of the month to see the full effect. even after its initial release day it gained a lot more momentum and did break records so lets wait for march's npd numbers and see its full impact. as far as ps3 getting a price cut it would be awesome but highly doubtful. as far as gt5p i was kinda disappointed it didn't push that many hardware but it seemed to have pushed hardware outside of US in japan and especially europe/other. march and june are very imp...
@poop - man i loved ng1 and ng2 seems to be a solid game but as far as hardware i don't believe it's a system seller. though i have no doubt that it will sell well i just don't see it doing as well as mgs4.
@aiphanes - 700k PS3 units in US alone in June is hard to believe. even with very limited mgs4 bundle. world wide maybe but US alone you must be high
