Well I work A Toys R' US in Canada and I got to talk with a Sony PR. We had a good time talking about the PS3 and he was surprised that our store had 3 MGS4 80G PS3 Bundle because supposedly we weren't suppose to get any more. When I asked if it had anything to do with the new 80G Core PS3 Bundle he said yes. I asked when about well we see it, he said hopefully around early September. This shouldn't be considered as fact and it also should be noted that he represented Sony Canada.
Seriously I can't give xbox360 props without being disagreed upon. I'm mostly a PS3 player who owns a 360 but even I can't doubt that they have some good looking RPG games.
WTF!
By March of next year when the FF7:AC bundle comes out we should be seeing quite a significant increase in hardware sales. Japan loves FF7 and are probably as eager as me to get their hands on the FF13 demo.
Yeah Aqua is pretty hot. Here's hoping that she get as much playing time as the other two lead characters. KH:BBS may be hands down the best looking PSP game to date. Hands down a system seller, I just hope they make a bundle for this because I'll be wanting a new PSP when this comes out.
Though rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, do sales prove if a game is good or not? Answer is no. Look at a game like Okami one of the most critically acclaimed game on the PS2 and did it sell well, not really. Than there's that stupid 50 cent game that sold more than Okami and was that a good game, hell no. The thing sales represents is money and at the end of the day that's what most developers/companies want. If the game is good (and here's hoping it is) than yes it deserves to se...
Ah, now this is a game that should push some hardware if it's marketed right. Sony better do a good job for with their "multimillion dollar blockbuster" marketing campaign. They should market the hell out of this like they did with the Spider-Man franchise and please people don't reply that this game will be a disappointment like Spider-Man 3. Infamous looks like it has the potential to be an early GOTY contender for 09. Sorry Killzone 2 you maybe the best looking game in 09 but Inf...
Good for 360. Its getting some great looking RPGs and Japan loves those things.
This is by far one of the best "hot female list" and the most funniest. Glad to see Mai take the top spot. She's the original sexy queen of fighters. She literally invented in-game bouncing boobs. And god damn was she ever hot in those Fatal Fury movies especially in Fatal Fury The Motion Picture (those who saw that movie know what I'm talking about).
here's hoping that if Okami and Odin Sphere do gain more recognition with title of Greatest Hits, we may see sequels on next-gen consoles.
...but it is up to Sony if they do become Greatest Hits.
If the pattern continues are we most likely to see Res3 in 2010? And if this pattern continues when will we see a new IP from them? I think they have the talent to make a new successful franchise.
Both games will be great but how can anyone know if either games will be better if no one as even played both in their entirety and that includes Cliff. Seriously they both may be shooters but their two completely different shooters.
S-E sure knows how tease people.
Rare has the potential to a create a game that can become a classic and most developers have too but its gonna be hard to make a game that will have the same effect on gamers than GoldenEye. For its time it was simply a masterpiece that had no equal and was the 2nd best game for me, on the N64 (1st obviously being Zelda Ocarina of Time).
Games I have and want:
360
Lost Odyssey - have and its a great RPG
Ninja Gaiden II - have and loves it
Tales of Vesperia - love tales of.. series
Infinite Undiscovery - made be tri-ace so I go to have it
Fable II - one of the reason I got a 360
Gears of War 2 - most likely the best 360 exclusive this year
Naruto: The Broken Bond - looks interesting but on the fence on this one
Last Remnant - Hmm 360 or PS3 that is the question?
Sh!t, imagine Shenmue with these kinda graphics. Dare I say Sega + Quantic Dreams + Heavy Rain like graphics = Shenmue 3 on the QuanticDreamcast. HAHAHA, one can only imgine.
*Ahem* Although Sony did make the hardware to make this possible, let's not forget Quantic Dreams were the one that made it a reality. So lets not forget to give them some props.
When I was a kid and I told my cousins that one day video games are gonna look life-like they laughed and told me ,"In your dreams". Little did I know that 15 yrs later they were right but when they said "dreams" they probably didn't mean Quantic Dreams. So hats of to Quantic Dreams for proving me right.
Hopefully people will see the potential and the beauty of this game and that it sell software and hardware. Its has all the makings of a GOTY or at least a nominee. This is the game that I hope will push other developers to bring something fresh and creative to the table.
Here's hoping will see some good Mega Man stages remakes. Hopefully someone crazy enough will make Quick Man's stage.
