Nothing wrong with copying an idea and adding to it. Video game history has proven it works and that the game can stand on its own. Sonic is a Mario clone with added speed and blast processing. Castlevania Symphony of the Night one the greatest games ever is a Metroid clone. He'll even Smash Bros stole some ideas from the arcade game it was inspired by, The Outfoxies.
I think PASBR actually does stands on it's own. Its like Fatal Fury 2 and Super Street Fighter 2 two iconic fighting games. Two fighting games that to some may seem similar but are two completely different fighting games. You would be surprised how much adding or tweaking gameplay mechanics can change a game, especially a fighting game.
You look at the PASBR on the surface and if you go in thinking it's exactly the same you will get dominated. You have to completely c...
Just once I would like to hear these journalist come up with an original argument. It's a rip-off, the characters aren't up to Nintendo's standards, it won't come close to smash, Superbot can't pull it off, and etc. Really do people actually need to here this? Every one is entitled to their own opinion but be a professional and at least wait till it's actually out. Even in its beta form it doesn't fully represents the final product. Though my two cents, all bugs an...
If they wanted to do something new then change the games typical architect and pacing. Seriously all DMC pretty much have the same story, some demon that fought Sparta or has some connection to him are trying to destroy or rule the world. Some girl gets involved and you need to eventually save her and save the day in the process. Over the last four games nothing really changed other than the graphics, characters, difficulty, and some small gameplay changes. Look at how Castlevania changed its...
Really I wouldn't say now is the best time. Hell the best time is when the Super-slim PS3 comes out at a reduced price. At that point you really have no excuses to not own one if your a gamer.
Really Star Wolf, they could have easily filled that with a better character. Seriously could have added a character from Sin and Punishment, Lil Mac, Ridley, or some one from Golden Sun. Nintendo isn't afraid of adding lesser known characters from less known franchises, look at Marth, Roy, Ness and Lucas.
But still I gave Wolf a chance and he's a cool character. So people should give the characters a chance.

Idk people were pretty stoke about Robo-Raiden when he made his first MGS4 appearance at Sony's E3 2007 conference. He seemed to gain a lot of popularity when MGS4 was released. Hell people wanted him to get his own game. Though really the worst character in MGS is Johnny Sasaki.
A pretty good article but when it comes down to it you really think that SuperBot has final say on the roster? Last time I checked the title was "Playstation" All-Stars Battle Royale not SuperBot All-Stars Battle Royale.
The case for Smash Bros. is that Nintendo owns the rights to pretty much all the iconic Nintendo characters from Mario to Olimar. Pretty much half of Sony's most iconic characters are from 3rd parties like Snake, Cloud and Lara Croft and the on...
Got to love Sony, they really didn't have try so hard seeing as their competition didn't even show up but man did they go all out. I mean just this year alone PS3 has had more new IPs announced than the Xbox has had in last couple of years. Sony is losing money and they still give us free games, madness. While Microsoft is shafting their core gamers for casual games, entertainment apps and the transition into the next-gen, Sony is building up their core base into the next-gen. Sony yo...
I care about their incredible titles!
TGS rarely is. They mostly talk about numbers and japanese related games that may not get to leave Japan. Though if my memory serves me right this is the first year Vita is at TGS. Hopefully we can see some awesome JRPGs. One game I really want that would be perfect for the Vita, Dark Cloud 3. The vibrant colors would melt your eyes.
Two words sealed the deal on this being better than E3: Cross-buy! *Drops the mic and walks of stage*
They should just change there Internet browser into Google Chrome, seeing as Sony and Google have such a strong partnership.
The art style is mind blowing so much swag. The lighting is amazing. Definitely a game I'm looking out for. PS3 it only does..... new IPs when the competition is worried about ESPN and UFC apps.
And my mind was just blown... still though I love PS+.
For Motorstorm RC can it be accessed via Wi-Fi or 3g or only through connecting with the PS3?
150mb -> 1gb, that's one hell of an upgrade. If I can access my PSABR or Sly 4 saves on the cloud via my Vita then Sony my recent purchase of PS+ is making me really happy.
Gamescom > E3
I think for EA and third parties, maybe they can do something like a limited time Cross-Buy promotion would do. Like for example for the first week a game is released the Cross-Buy promotion is in effect. This will increase first days and probably pre-order sales. After seeing the initial week sales they can decide to continue it or not. Another option is they can have Cross-Buy limited to a number of units like a limited edition.
