Huh split screen in fighting games? That's a horrible idea. Where every little detail and frame matter, you want to reduce the size of the screen by adding another beside it. Bad idea. I don't even see how split-screen would add anything to a fighting game. Dual monitors is the perfect way to play fighting games. I see more tournaments do it now a days. Though the old fashion one screen for all still works and is a tournament staple.
Might just be me but having the next Smash Bros revealed on a prerecorded video rather than a big stage, just doesn't seem right. I want the major hype and build up that only a press conference can give. Though nonetheless still looking forward to that game. I thought that Nintendo could really have used E3 build some hype for Wii U. You just can't get the same amount of raw emotion and hype from an E3 press conference from a nintendo direct. Great game, stupid expectations. Hell I could maybe see the sequel sell that well but not a game thats rebooting a dwindling franchise.
Though who seriously buys a Nintendo console now a days for third party gamed. There's only 3 reason most core gamers get it: 1) Mario, 2) Zelda , 3)Smash Bros. Everything else is just icing on a cake.
This is just really sad people want a cheap console and here is Sony creating a system from off the shelf parts and you still complain. You guys wanted multiplatform titles on par with each other, now your going to get and you still complain. You guys seriously can't learn how to compromise, always wanting everything your way. If you guys aren't willing to pay over $600 for a PS4 then don't b**** about it. Cause that's how much it'll cost just to get that damn Cell chip in...
Just hope they focus on games and finally show that if kinnect is boxed in day one that it can be an essential peripheral to the core games. If xbox losses focus on the core demographic that has supported them, then they are going to have a bad time this gen. If the leaks are right it's hard to see how xbox can stack against the PS4 technically and gaikai powered psn. This will be one hell of a fight if this gen is the last console generation.
The ramifications this will have for the fighting community is huge. This will only vastly improve the way community reaches out to on another. I thank you Sony.
If they can make Gakai and PS4 allow you to stream for FREE the PS3 games you already have then problem solve. Maybe they can implement a system in which you register said PS3 game you own to your PSN account. Or if you insert a PS3 game into the PS4, it will recognize it and automatically begin streaming the game.
You know what's was probably a big incentive to get The Witness on PS4, self-publishing. This can be a huge advantage for the PSN.
I belive prices are up to the individual game's publisher. I think Sony reduces their prices for some of their digital/retail games.
Ah that's kinda disappointing, but still solid. Oh well looks like PS4 exclusives will set the benchmark graphically this console generation.
