They shouldn't worry but they did, it's hard not to believe that the major 180 turns are a result of low pre-order. They know just as much Sony that a good start is important. Devs will look at the install base and begin to cater to one side. Just like the 360 in the early years.
Sony is smart to back up the indie scene. You never know which one of these young devs will become the next Naughty Dog and Sony will be right there to adopt them into the Sony Worldwide Studio family.

The amount of games you get with Plus will pretty much cover the price of the bundle itself. Plus is such a great thing.
I think most if the hate towards Lightning is because people hate FF13. I like the character but man FF13 was not good.

Its ok news but not great news. Its only available for people who pre-order XB1 in Europe. Number of open pre-orders are limited or pretty much gone. This promotion lasts till the holidays. Many European countries will be left out till 2014. Now I'm more curious to see what MS will do for North America, will they bundle Madden or COD?

Really since E3 all MS has been doing is keeping up with PS4. I applaud MS for their changes and sacrifices but I hate them for what they tried to do. MS shot themselves in the foot and over time that wound will heal but chances are they'll be struggling the rest of the way. They're fortunate to have Bill Gates deep pockets.
With all the rumored problems MS is having than I don't see this released prior to PS4. Though I don't know if MS can afford releasing after PS4.
The same reason American and European companies avoid Wii U, hardware sales. If they can't make money off the Wii U then why waste money porting or developing for it.

Sony won for me. They should some good looking games that really caught my eye. MurasakiBaby, Big Fest, and Rime looked awesome. Sony gave me so much games. Yes there not AAA games but damn do they look good. I really don't see GamesCom as the place to announce big new AAA games, it usually is a follow and update on E3 games. I really didn't know what to expect from GamesCom except the launch date for PS4. Overall I kinda expected lackluster announcements. Though the Vita vice drop was awesome. I think GamesCom isn't a place that huge game announcements are usually revealed. I usually see it as a follow up and an update on E3 announcements but TGS I'm expecting big things. This the big showcase for the Japanese devs. So here I am hoping a lot from TGS. Though just wondering is MS going to be at TGS?
