That's one heck of a situation actually. Basically, it goes like this: Interplay, the original developer behind Fallout 1 and 2, had to start developing the Fallout MMO by april 4 2009, but they didn't make the deadline. Bethesda, who had required the rights to the franchise in order to develop Fallout 3, threatened to pull the plug on the project.
Eventually they started working on it and it went fine for a while. Then, all of a sudden, Bethesda(!) sues Interplay, be...
Zenimax is the main publishing company for Bethesda, id Software's RAGE and several other studios/games. Basically, Bethesda has very little to do with this, but Zenimax is founded by Bethesda itself, so it might seem confusing.
A useless product for a game I won't buy. Besides that, doesn't this give an unfair advantage to a console gamer? I can already smell the many hacker accusations.
N64 didn't sell much? I'm sorry, let me throw away my cartridge of Ocarina of Time right now, along with the billion others...
EA has confirmed Battlefield 3 is possible on the Wii U. We already have Metro: Last Light, Batman: Arkham City, Darksiders II and I'm pretty sure there's much more coming up. Ninty is giving third parties a more time to develop for the Wii U and it's those parties that decide whether the console is good or not. If the console is supposedly bad, why are third parties showing tons of support and praise so far?
I simply do not understand the criticism the console has received so far. If anything, the Zelda HD techdemo shows that the Wii U will be very powerful, I dare say even much more powerful than the PS3. Also, let's keep in mind that Nintendo has also always been about gameplay, rather than graphics.
I'd rather have a console with amazing games and relatively 'outdated' graphics in 2013, because of the PS4 and next Xbox, than a monster console with a huge price ...
Why the hate for Duke? He's a legend and it's not his fault the game disappoints.
Is it worth the wait? No. Is it fun to play? Hell yes. I'm almost at the end of the singleplayer and I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far.
The only really big issue I have with the game is the two weapon system. I can live with the regenerating health, since the game can still be difficult at times, even on normal. Of course Forever doesn't live up to Duke Nukem 3D, but it's fun, action-packed and the humor is something you'll love.
Since when is Portal considered an FPS?
My, that would be awesome. I'm itching for some action once again. I wonder what improvements Blizzad has come up with, if these rumors are true. =3
Ah, good news. Time to prepare for one difficult run to get a hold of those tickets.
The Swarm never stops evolving, so be careful when nerfing the Zerg. :P
Oh my, this is just screaming April fools all over... =P
Pretty much a waste of time, money and space, although I'm sure many fans will check this out. Sigh...
Great walkthrough, it really shows how well designed the original map was. Scrap Station is easily one of my favorite RTS maps of all time.
The game looks awesome. Too bad I don't own an entire Nvidia 3D kit. That would be friggin' cool. ^_^
Too bad my PC ain't capable enough to handle the game in 3D. Still, great read and I'm looking forward to the game.
I played the PC demo yesterday. I am friggin' sold, let me tell you that. Great read, makes me even more motivated to pre-order the game.
Nice guide, although not suited for professional players of course. I'll recommend this article to a couple of my not-so-1337 StarCraft II playing friends. =P
Yes, Call of Duty is indeed casual. Why? Because it appeals to those who do not frequently play games. It has a very small learning curve and anyone is drawn to the amount of customization and possibilities.
Now, another question we have to ask ourselves, is this: "Is Call of Duty hardcore?" In my opinion it no longer is. The last Call of Duty I consider to be truly hardcore is Call of Duty 2.
CoD4 was plagued by Juggernaut, Martyrdom, Last Stand an...
