Uncharted is trying too hard to be a serious shooter? Are you serious? First of all you mean ND is trying too hard to make Uncharted into a serious shooter. Second,I disagree, I didn't get that at all. The characters move slower but I was told there is a sprint button. Uncharted is the same shooter only certain aspects were refined. The multiplayer is more about customizing.
I don't see him as Drake at all, honestly the characters in Uncharted are too recognizable, almost organic, don't know if anyone can play them and be taken seriously.
I hope Amy Hennig writes the movie, at least someone from Naughty Dog or who has worked closely with the game.

I'm not gonna slam you or anything and this is just my opinion but I think the fact that Uncharted is in third person is the reason why it is so successful. I think it would take a way from many of the things that were done in the previous titles, such as Uncharted 2's train sequence, to me it was best done that way.
Same goes for the multiplayer, especially now, they're doing great things and it could be an improved experience akin to Uncharted to Uncharted 2. Ov...

Hmm, I don't know about that. Resistance 2 had it's own lane in 08, it only did okay. Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 had their own lane as well, they did very well but they didn't outsell Halo nor Gears. I agree with a few of his points but I think there's more to it.
Heavy Rain is to a flat out success it had the right amount of hype to be a surprise hit, I think it being so different kept from being a 5 million unit sold game.
I love the feel, the characters do feel heavier the guns have greater amount of accuracy to them.
