I forgot Silicon Knights was behind this game. I enjoyed their work on MGS: Twin Snakes. Too bad they couldn't do well, but after hearing Dennis Dyack(sorry for spelling mistake if any) and knowing they had almost a decade you can't feel sorry for them.
Canada's bigger than the US? It's close but I think the US has it beat. Remember the US is a pretty big country.
I don't get how you have nine years and can't make the game amazing. Seeing all that has gone on in the industry for almost a decade and still can't deliver. If the 360 wasn't trying to drown out the PC market, I think this would have faired better on the PC.
And being a Halo killer has nothing to do with sales. There are a lot better FPS on the PC or just in the market period, but may not see the media coverage Halo gets. COD4 is a good mainstream title thats better and is also...
Honestly besides Gears of War 2 what does the 360 have? Fable is a joke and Too Human hasn't gotten the greatest feedback.
Well I know I'm ranked in the top 95% in the world and 92% in America. Test yourself with http://www.speedtest.net. And for those wondering I live in the NYC area, in case you feel location has something to do with it. I actually went down 1% in both fields from the last time I did the test. Might be this no script thing on Firefox. And thats with a router. And woot for Optimum Online. And to SDS Gamerfiend, was paying extra for t...
Whats the difference between the Verses version and the normal version of FF XIII
Man does anyone else this Jack Tretton is the man? Besides that guy over at Nintendo, Jack is the second best PR guy.
Anyways good for Sony and keep it up.
you hate the Sony fanboys....? You should have seen this site when MS fanboys like The Mart were running things on the comments. Than the PS3 started doing good and they've shut up for the most part. The site is a lot better from what it once was.
And good for MS for spinning this instead of addressing the point. And the G-Phoria thing is a joke. G4 is very pro MS and a lot of the people who watch G4 are MS fanboys. Even Kevin Pierrea or however you spell his name blatantly says ...
Good for the PS3. In all seriousness Patcher needs help. He seems like a nice guy but he really doesn't know what he's saying and he's an expert. Now if you had ask an average guy I would have guessed 360 could have won July just based on the fact that nothing was out for either system and MGS4 may have died down, but congrats to Sony and keep the work up.
And how is the Wii still selling this well? I have won and don't even use it anymore except for Brawl now and then. There is...
Didn't this happen before for Ace Combat. Nothing really special. The question should be what would this game do on the PS3 in Japan. More people who have the PS3 in Japan plus more who will be persuaded to purchase one.
I've played the game and have been a fan of the series. So you can't go and prejudge that I have no experience with something because you don't like what I have to say. I've played it and for a title charging $60 they really didn't do much to improve on the game and take advantage of this new generation. Titles like MGS4 have been able to expand on there gameplay while still making it a lot more approachable and easier to use and still maintaining a hard difficulty. DMC4 had the same problem ...
This is stupid. You didn't get hit once because the demo is meant for you to explore and enjoy the game rather than struggle like you normally will when you actually purchase the retail version.
If Sony does hold rights to the FFVII game, I think this is the reason this hasn't been announced yet. SE wanted that title to go multiplatform and Sony kept preventing it from happening. So they workout an agreement to let FF XIII go to the 360 and keep Versus and a time zone exclusive in Japan to persuade SE to make the FFVII remake.
This game has really fallen from grace. The difficulty was the only thing I would say that kept it in consideration a the top of this genre, but after this recent installment, and what GoW has been able to do with all of it's releases, GoW is ultimately the king. And the new missions should be good, but considering the people who would get it are the people who spent $60 for it, when the game isn't really worth that amount, it's hard to argue in favor of dishing out more cash.
I like that idea, but too bad they don't allow you to fully customize the entire thing on your own. And to get wallpapers and themes you have to pay. But good for MS to realize that not everyone is going to like dashboard although I think it's going to be great. If only they had this time of perspective in the PC market.
Thats amazing how that one guy said he wouldn't dish out hundreds of dollars for the PC version of The Orange Box when his 360 can do it just as good. If by just as good you mean less than what a lot of PC gamers can do then you're correct. I rather play it on the PC where I already owned Half-Life 2 and Episode One, give someone the extras of the games I got with the package as a gift via steam. Play with the best controls for an FPS with the mouse and keyboard. Not worry about server proble...
????????? How. That's like saying Gran Turismo on the PS is better than GT5 Prologue or the full game when it comes out. Certain things get better with technology as they expand upon the idea of the game such as stealth a lot better. MGS4 captures the battle between stealth and the very intelligent AI of the game. MGS was great but very predictable and easy to maneuver around once you have the gist of the game memorized. And for all the times I've beaten MGS4 already and getting the Big Boss ...
Good for Sony but people arguing against MGS4 need to wake up. There is a difference between who Halo can advertise to and MGS4 can. MGS4 is a lot harder and less attractive to the casual guy who probably couldn't get past the first Act.
I'm proud of the people behind Killzone. To not give up and leave the series alone but realize what they messed up on and tackle it again. Shows signs of true team who are gamers. And to people saying this really can't be done, remember the first GTA weren't great and really needed a re-focus and the power and technology of a new generation to help them out.
Damn. Good to see GS do the same to the 360 for once.
