Either way 1360x1080 is a big improvement from 1280x720. The fact that Konami at least improved this and MGS5 resolution wise is a step in the right direction. COD AW was dynamic 1360x1080 and it looked fine. People make way to much out of this whole '1080p Native' topic. Not every dev is on the same level of competence even Battlefield 4 and Hardline were 900p on my PS4 but I still enjoyed Battlefield 4. Forza 6 looks to be a legit racing enthusiast's wet dream come true. Day One for me. LOVE racers and this and DC will be ALL I will be playing for a while. 26 weather modes is very nice and I am guessing you pick and choose what conditions for the track you want. Thats nice so at least if its not dynamic you get to decide what it will be like when you race. Smart by Turn 10 to have this. Game looks AMAZING.
Looks fine to me and is an upgrade obviously with the 1080/60 performance. Wait till people see it in motion playing it - THAT is when you will notice how much better it looks and plays on PS4. Hope we get a Resistance Trilogy next Sony.
Just read the full details of the update and it said that 'New Tracks' are in the works also. Thank you Evo!!!! I am stoked for this game and all the content they keep rolling out. My favorite racer this gen and hope the support continues and get a sequel at some point. Graphics are what makes the immersion factor in this game unfreaking real!!!
Sweet Jesus...Sony is going for the KILLSHOT with all of these insanely beautiful limited edition consoles this year. As I said before any chances of XB1 narrowing the gap will fade away from the attention this bundle and the MGS 5 bundles will attract. PS4 is really on a roll.
With the limited edition consoles Sony has lined up for Destiny, MGS 5 and now Star Wars as well as 3rd party timed dlc any momentum xb1 gets from Halo n Gears will be overshadowed. I mean now Sony is having PSX on Dec 5th n 6th and that will only continue more PS4 hype for them. Wait till the Star Wars ads start showing with the PSX logo for promotion . Sony really made some big 3rd party deals to offset any xb1 momentum this holiday season .
If what he is saying is true that would be great for XB1. I will believe it when I see it but it would be a nice boost for XB1 if it is true. Wonder if this would mean 20+% across the board for rez, frames, shaders, etc. Also if this is restricted to dx12 built games what happens if a 3rd party dev doesnt bother with it? Not good unless MS can make these gains accessible for all game builds - maybe a dx12 sdk or whatever that would allow ALL devs to utilize extra power regardless of the type ...
Sony is really going for the jugular with three shows before the year is up. PSX should be a MONSTER show and I am praying for GT7 footage AND God of War 4.
NFS looks great but it isnt better looking than DC. When you look at what DC does with its dynamic day.night and weather cycles which look insane it's pretty clear it is still the best looking racer this gen imo. I for one was really pumped for the new NFS UNTIL....they said it was 'ONLINE ONLY' which is becoming a trend lately with EA, ao they will NOT be getting this gamer's money.

The Order was good for me. I didnt expect it to be something it wasnt and overall I have enjoyed it and go back from time to time and play certain levels over. Hope they make a sequel.
Even with MS's E3 and Gamescon showings which were very impressive it doesnt seem like it is going to make much difference in terms of them trying to 'catch up' or narrow the gap. Sony is just unstoppable this gen...clearly the people have spoken and the PS4 is definitely the console of choice for the majority thus far.
With Moore's recent stupid comments abut gamers 'not playing single player games anymore' and Battlefront and NFS both being 'ONLINE ONLY' I could care less about what EA is trying to sell.
Devs just crack me up sometimes with their outlandish claims.
This game will set the bar once again like its predecessors did. Action/adventure doesn't get any better than Uncharted. EA with. their recent 'Online Only - People don't play single player games anymore' way of thinking need to take a cue here. This is why I love Playstation games in general because over the years Sony has given us gems like this.
This seems to be the new motto for EA Games now "Single Player isnt merited anymore therefore let's focus on Online-Only titles' hence the new Need for Speed and now this. VERY dissapointing and this will only pave the way for more companies to follow suit if people buy these online only titles. What did anyone expect him to really say....he is just being truthful and honest. This is a time for MS to really work hard to win back many a gamer they lost and try to put out some amazing NEW IP's as well as sequels to some of their bigger ones. Phil has done a great job and he knows catching PS4 is not really practical at this point but putting out solid titles of their own is. Good luck and in the end the gamers win.

Nothing groundbreaking but an improvement nonetheless. Sometimes you can only do so much when the games were ahead of their time from the previous gen.
