Like last gen people complained about no games and then they came in waves.
Confirmed a while back that sequel will be multiplat. Just make sure we get a solid good OFFLINE single player campaign this time around or else no buy for me.
Insane numbers!!! Love my PS4 and seeing it have this type of success makes me very happy as a consumer of my choice to own one. Lots of good things in store for the future as well. I am glad Sony choose to share the news with us so we can know for ourselves how they are selling unlike MS.
Give me 1080p with locked 30 fps all day long if possible. TO ME at least nothing beats the crispness of a 1080p image. Yes 60 fps is great for some games but not at the expense of image quality imo. Thats why I like what Bungie did with Destiny - 1080/30. Yes sometimes there may be drops but overall it is a beautiful clean looking game and plays extremely well for me. Higher rez is higher quality anyway imo.
The only thing anyone should be worried about is some random 'Doom and Gloom' article like this trying to downplay the brilliance that is Naughty Dog as a dev. UC4 will be an amazing game just like it's predecessors were. I have been enjoying the Nathan Drake Collection on my PS4 for now and I know when March gets here UC4 will make me more than happy Day One. Some people seem to have agendas for certain games and I guess that will never stop in this competitive industry.
Hope all works out well for Eric. The end of an era and the start of a new chapter - such is life in all respects. I am sure MS knows what they are doing while we all speculate and try to imagine we truly know what is going on. I am sure things will work out for them and at the end of the day its really all about the games for me. Just give me great games and I will be happy.
Game looks good regardless of scaling rez or whatever. They could have gone the route of 1080p locked 30 fps in campaign while using the scaling rez for the 60 fps MP but its ultimately their choice.
PS4 simpy because it has managed to outsell XB1 even with Gear Ultimate, Forza 6 and Rare Replay releasing these past few months. Halo 5 will do very good but the PS4 price cut was made to counteract that as well. SO my money is on the PS4.
Not good when they were always so keen to point out sales of the x360 last gen. They are getting owned sales wise and they know it is all I can think. Otherwise we would have some type of sales totals in reference to XB1 hardware.
MS doing alot of good deals with bundles - should help them a bit this fall and holiday.
Whoa that momentum....I mean come on already with articles like this. I am sure they are being positive and the big fall update is almost here and they have Halo 5 dropping next week but seriously...they wont even release official sales number for the system!?!?!?! I find that strange because they have said time fter time they are doing better than the x360 was at the same point so why not just come out and say 'Ok we sold 14 or 15 million'or whatever it is they sold??? Whats the big ...
Unreal but a harsh reality for some. Even with all the big first party efforts MS STILL cnat manage to get a month while Sony just continues to coast. Halo 5 will do very well for them overall but I dont think even that will be enough because of the bundles PS4 has lined up and the recent price drop more than anything. The Paris conference will generate even more buzz for PS4 and it starts the day Halo 5 launches. Sony is timing alot of things just right.
Game looks sweet. Cant wait to play it on my XB1. I am pretty sure the reviews will be pouring in soon aswell as the DF performance and review thread. GOTY contender for sure.

Wont impact me at all - NO BUY for an online-only NFS. Hope this flops and teaches EA a lesson that NFS was always about a cool campaign and not this online-only crap they keep trying to shove on us as of late.
Hasn't for me. I love God Of War and Kratos is the icing on the cake. Granted more can be done with the series and they may decide to introduce a new character but whatever they decide count me in.
My favorite racer hands down. NOTHING beats this game immersion wise due to how real it looks. I am blown away every time I play it. I love the new Renault RS 1.6. I counted 110 total cars now in the game - not bad at all. Wonder when the update is happening as it getting close to the end of the month - I am referring to the big update that was in the works. I also wonder if it will bring new locations as well.
Its a big deal to certain people, as for me I will be getting this for my PS4 and happy with how the beta looked and played. I am sure it will sell a ton and alot of people will be very happy with it. It is after all Star Wars Battlefront. Still wish it really had an offline single player kick ass story/campaign to go along with the release of the movie.
Nice move and very much needed Sony now just add external HDD support and we are all good :o)
Good to see goals like this being set for Sony. The PS4 has been a MONSTER so far and they would be fools not to capitalize on the success and invest in making it even better in the future.
