That part about it being a sanity issue is too funny. Parents should be doing more to make sure their kids don't play violent games. Don't demand the government do your job for you. A big problem today is a lot of parents just have no idea what their kids are doing. And that's their fault. Maybe they should pay more attention.

Microsoft sure knows how to hire people who can talk BS. That's all it is. DX12 is nothing special. It doesn't make the hardware faster and more powerful.

I think one thing that really helped early on was you could watch DVD's on the PS2 and DVD players were still expensive. That was big back then. It wasn't as big for the PS3 and Blu-ray but the PS3 at least was cheaper than other Blu-ray players.

What a joke. DX12 won't do a thing to help.

Amy Hennig doesn't work on the actual games. She isn't a graphics artist or programmer. She won't have anything to do with how great the game looks or plays. They have other people who do that stuff. Naughty Dog has the best people in the industry work on their games. They even made their own tools for the PS3. EA doesn't do that.

Sounds like BS. Amy Hennig only worked on the stories so she won't be making the graphics look great. But how many times have we heard about how great a Star Wars game will be and have it come out mediocre?

I don't buy any nonsense on this subject. The PS2 had something just like it but it never really helped. There was some small, fast memory they could use to make things run better but I don't think many developers bothered with it much. It makes games a lot more complicated. It's what you do when you don't want to include enough RAM or fast RAM. It will never make the Xbox One close to as powerful as the PS4.

At least $10,000. I see companies give people more than that all the time for finding bugs. I'm surprised nobody ever found this bug. I wonder if it was around as long as Xbox Live?

Microsoft should have given the kid $10,000 for finding this. Use it for a scholarship. That was a really careless bug.

No thanks.

If this is true a lot of gamers missed out on two great PS3 games. If you have a PS3 and didn't buy inFamous 1 and 2 buy them now. You won't be sorry.

Talking about yourself?

Anyone who thought this was a good idea sure is dumb. Never let a company like Facebook buy you. They're going to destroy this thing.

4459d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

It would have looked twice as good on the PS4 though.

4459d ago 4 agree4 disagreeView comment

Not true. The PS4 is a lot more powerful than the Xbox One. The only way this would be true is if developers keep pushing the Xbox One and hold back on the PS4. That would be unacceptable. It was bad enough they did that to the PS3.

If this is true this guy shouldn't be talking about it. It's not up to him to let it out. It's a good idea to make it but let Naughty Dog announce it at least.

If Pachter thinks it's a bad idea it will be a huge success.

YouTube is what happened to them. You can find all kinds of free videos now. Why pay $15+ on a book if you can get free help?

Anyone who isn't patient shouldn't buy a new console. Every new console has this problem. Big deal. I guess this guy would prefer a bunch of big games get released before they're finished. Then he can cry about how buggy the games are.
