People sure love to attack Watch Dogs. It's a great game. Maybe the story isn't as good as other games but that doesn't stop you from playing it. There's a lot to do in the game.

You can't trust stories like the Xbone selling twice as much in a month. Twice as much of what? The previous moth? Maybe it sold 25,000 the previous month and 50,000 in June. Big deal. When the numbers are nothing special they don't give real numbers, they say sales doubled.

The PS4 was designed from the start to deal with that though. It isn't hard to get PS4 games to run at 1080p. The Xbox One is a lot harder. This seems more like dropping the PS4 game to make Microsoft happy. That way the PS4 won't have a big advantage.

It's not slightly tougher on the Xbox One. It's a lot harder. But they can always make other changes to their games so they can run at 1080p.
Is Microsoft paying people now to make sure nobody notices the PS4 version is better? If you want real 1080p games you want a PS4. The Xbox One just can't run the same exact game at 1080p. It will need to be dumbed down. Something will have to go.

The name is stupid but it's more than that. It came out way too late and is way too underpowered. It's like Nintendo thought Sony and Microsoft would just make small updates to the PS3 and 360. It can't come close to competing with the PS4 and Xbox One.
