Is lost odyssey as good as people say. The reviews were so so and I am wondering if I should pick it up today. I like the final fantasies before 11 and 12 so if it's anything like those I would enjoy it.

I love fallout 3 but I remember playing with my first character and I thought, I really won't need repair because I will just pick up my enemies weapons and I only want to use guns, then at the end all the enemies were using lasers and all my weapons were damaged. lol.
is this PS3 BC. I want one but I want the BC ones.
I remember when I was first stationed in Hawaii and I was playing silent hill 1, Then the sirens came on and I could have swore I heard them outside my house. I went to the door open it and you could hear sirens all over the island. I didn't know this at the time but at the beginning of the month they would test out there hurricane alarms. Yeah it was the most frightening thing ever.

I understand the point you made at the end. I can't stand when people compare graphics and all that as well. To the gamer it should be about how much fun you are having and let the developers worry about textures lighting and all of that.

I don't think I would do anything differently to the game chrono trigger. I have beat it about 14 times and never thought I wish they would have done this.
Edit: Actually I think if a game gives you pure enjoyment and if you can play it 5 ,10, 15 years later and get the same enjoyment, what more could you ask for. Ratings is always about opinion but games are meant to be fun and I can say that they were a lot of games that I have had so much fun ...

2 of those were handhelds. I thought handhelds and consoles were different. Well ,I can't believe they didn't mention the Atari jaguar. Maybe it died so fast no one remembers it. It seemed like I got mine for Christmas and by spring they stopped making them. Do the math. lol.

I would like to see halo in an RPG such as mass effect or fallout. Maybe not with master chief but with your own character. It would be awesome to start out as a grunt and work your way up to master chief status. Just dreaming though.

What gets me is you have these awesome 2d games and then when 3d hit it was like everyone jumped on the bandwagon and forget about what made the games great. I think if something is great why mess with it. I understand that developers wanted to move forward but it became more like this is what we have to do instead of I wonder what we can still do with 2d games.
I know I may get disagrees but the PS2 is the main reason why I haven't got my PS3 yet. I am still buying and playing games on it. Even more than my 360. There are Hundreds of games I still want to play on the PS2 that are now $5.00(used) to $20.00 (new). I wish I would have waited on buying a 360.

I completely agree with agent.I really want a PS3 but I'm waiting for that price drop. The same thing I did for my 360. Why was I going to get either one when I had great games that were coming out on my Ps2. I can wait for games because I only play about 10 hours a month. I am one of the casual players and I don't have time or money to spend on all of these devices. Price is a huge factor.
