I know many people who enjoy the Wii. One of my friends who is 36 was having a blast with it the other day and trying to sell me own it. personally I like 360 but it goes to show you that some people want more than just FPS or Action games. I think the Wii is good and everyone here needs to realize that. It opens up new areas in the market and overall helps video games in general. What I am worried about is MS and Sony trying to rush after this family audience and forgetting about us hardcore...

Wii is like the Hundia of cars. It shoots for a more economic consumer.
MS and Sony are like Mercedes and BMW. If we were to compare them to cars Hundia probably outsells BMW and Mercedes. They are still competitors but shoot to different audiences in the same market.

you forget that the PS2 is still a great selling system. That means in 2 years MS could very well make the 360 smaller(like sony did with the PS2) and sell it at $129. this is my opinion.
Instead of putting that 1 billion into warranties and refurbishing people they should of had a billion dollar lottery. After 6 months they could go on TV and draw serial numbers to see who won. Then people whould not mind so much about there 360 crapping out they would buy a new one just to get an advantage in the drawing. lol

Playstations are the most unreliable system. I remember when I had my PS1 and I would leave to go to work, I would say "Playstation don't you sit around here and do nothing all day. remember when the jaguar and dreamcast failed. They announced that they would no longer be making there systems anymore. I don't think MS is no where near announcing not making the 360. there still doing very well. I remember the good ole jaguar failing. Me and the other 4 people who bought one were very upset. :(

look guys. when developers see that 360 sales more software they will want to make there games on the 360. This is not a fanboy commment its the truth. thats why 360 is getting more games that would have never been on a MS system before. this game looks like crap. my ps1 can do these graphics. Are you kidding me!!! LOL Nah it looks really good. I am amazed at how good the games are getting. Fall of 2008 I think we will see stuff that will blow us away.
Why is there so much hype for killzone? Who cares if it looks photo realistic. I can name 50 games that had great graphics but sorry gameplay. If the first killzone told us anything is that the game play should come first. This is not being a fanboy its just I'd rather see games that look like they would be great(Heavenly sword, lair) not some sequel to a mediocore game.
I also can't wait to see what achievements it will have for the multiplay.
whats funny is majority of people who go to a restaurant and get something they don't like, they return it and wait to get something better instead of leaving the restaurant. This seems to be the case with 360 fans since I have read that people have returned there 360 3 or 4 times. Luckily mine hasn't broke yet.
