I like how people are saying it's a shame because there are no weather effects and no drivable vehicles but I have been playing a lot of fallout 1 and there isn't any of that. Isn't everything suppose to be a desert? Also on fallout 1 there is a guy selling cars (as a joke) and he says good luck finding petrol. This might be why they don't add weather or explain why you don't drive cars.
I'm downloading mine now. I haven't played this game in 10 years so I'm wondering if it will still be as good as I remember. Today has been kind to me. I got warhawk for the PS3 for 10 dollars and now I'm getting this. I don't know what I did to get all this good karma but I'm going to keep on doing what I do.
DYNAMITE!!DYNAMITE!! I wish they would make a black dynamite game.
LMAO best comment i've read all day.
really???? you would rather play crackdown 2 over reach? I guess it's your opinion but I enjoyed reach. I thought it was more of what you would expect from a halo game except the story and pacing is better than 2 and 3. It is no 10/10 but a 6.5? I just finished the SP and I would give it an 8.5. The bad things about reach for me was the enemy AI and the additions to sprinting and jetpacks seemed not adjusted properly with the game play. I literally ran/flew through the entire SP on normal...
Don't know about it being the best but I'm having a blast with it right now.
Maybe the reason he couldn't hold the camera still is because he was to excited for XBL's new dashboard. ;)
I am so stoked for this game. Infamous and demon souls have been my 2 favorite PS3 games. I spent so many hours in both of them. Hopefully demon souls will get a sequel and I'll be set.
Sorry, but he was one of the easiest bosses I've fought. It was just like this, run run run, hide, shoot sap, Repeat.
@Gwave
I found a lot of ways to kill the bosses in demon souls was real easy. There were bosses where you could just hide in one spot and wait until the right moment then come out and shoot. Maneater was the hardest one for me. What made demons souls so incredibly hard is the level design. It was hard as hell trying to get to the bosses. Anyway, the hardest boss I've fought had to be Kefka in final fantasy 6.

what? no river city ransom?
@ryhanon
The story in the game is different than that of the book. In this discussion we were talking about the story in the game not being well. Like I said in my earlier comment stories don't always work well using different forms of media. We were not talking about the halo game versus the halo books we were talking about the story in the game and the game alone. Then Someone post "the "halo story is good it's just not told well" doesn't make any sense. What he...
@hero
Then you would be debating spoken word versus what was written. In this case we are debating the way the story was conveyed in the game. Would you say the story in the game was good? I don't think so. The books may be great or any other media for that matter but we are talking about the game. BTW I'm not trying to be an a$$ either I just don't understand the comment perjoss wrote.
@perjoss
Uh what?? How can something have a great story but it be badly told. Let me ask you this, if someone were to tell you a story, or you were to read a book,or watch a movie, and the story didn't make any sense or was just plain bad then it was a bad story. It doesn't matter about the bigger picture if it was never conveyed in a way that the audience could grasp it. I love halo but I think myself and majority of people agree it's not a good story. Now if you mean the dialog...
Yeah this site fails so hard. Between stuff like this, screen shot comparisons between 2 different games running on different hardware(heavy rain,alan wake), Book reviews(SC), cosplay girls(ok I like cosplay girls), bloggers claiming to know all about games that haven't been released, news about someone who was killed related to VGs, and so much more, I can't take it. I'm sorry but I'm a real gamer and I want to come on here to learn about new games coming out or new gadgets(natal/arc)but all...
I have a question. Is the DLC free only if you buy the game during a certain time period(launch day)or is it free anytime you buy the game new?
Edit: I was under the impression that it was an incentive to get the game during launch day and I hope not because I won't have the money when the game comes out. I want the DLC but I can't get the game until the FEB 15.
@dchalfont
OK TY
I just bought gears2 3 nights ago and love it. After playing games like gears and Uncharted, TPSs is the way to go for me. I love aiming and it feels like the action is more intense as a TPS. About Epic regretting there deal with MS, I don't know but didn't gears sell really well on the 360? It has a huge fan following and great support so why would any developer regret that?
OH MY GOD!! SO AWESOME!! SO AWESOME!!
You know how you get those chills down your back when david gilmour plays that incredible solo in the wall, this video did the same thing. Only way I could explain how epic it was.
This video was the first video to actually get me pumped for motion controls. When he went into solo mode I was like "hell yeah!!!" I still don't know if I will pick up either kinect or move though.
BTW street dancers are awesome. Every time I'm down in Waikiki I always go and watch the street performers dance.
