The Wii U launch definitely needed some clarity as to what the Console was. The title Wii U was a little confusing. I wasn't sure if it was a tablet add-on or not. You are absolutely right about the launch games being good, but there was a lull waiting for some good games. Deus Ex filled the void nicely until Mario 3D came out. I wish Nintendo nothing but the best. And make another Eternal Darkness Dammit!

The Wii U launch was a trainwreck. The only way Nintendo will get people to remember them amongst the Xbox one and PS4 is nostalgia games or kiddy-Skylander games. Look at the expectations for Super Smash Brothers and Zelda Wii U. Those are decades old franchises that are tapped to bring focus to the Wii U. Its a GOOD game, but it does have some problems. Namely the map is confusing, changing characters can be a pain, and I have noticed multiple times that when my partner is dying off-screen, I start losing lugs. Don't get me wrong, its a GOOD game, but not worthy of a 9/10. I have seen multiple reviews giving it rave reviews, but it does have its flaws.
Dead rising 3 is pretty damn fun.
Buy a supercard DSTWO online. You can play snes, gba, ds, sega genesis, Nintendo, and other roms on your ds or 3ds. I've been rocking mine for almost 5 years and I use it every day.

I hear ya. I am a completionist by nature so I do try to budget my time between them. Once the new Mass Effect drops its all over for me though. Ill be living on the good ship Normandy.
I wish you could Rock both analogs instead of buttons! I was thinking the same thing but I don't know how to do kicks that way. Maybe a shift button. Fight night was great on 360 and that gives me hope that EA will do this right.
It really has been a great year of games.
I couldn't be more excited for this game. I loved the other Undisputed games except for some control issues. Hopefully EA can tune the controls to perfection. May be the last chance to see Anderson Silva in the cage. :(
It's a bizzare game in general. Disney and final fantasy characters in a rpg? And yet it works really well. I'm just surprised its as popular as it is. I enjoyed the first one back in the day.
That's more of a P.R issue than a Tech bomb though. The Xbox One is a slick unit. But Microsoft needs to get their public image in order, there is no doubt.
But the controls would be terrible guy! And your thumbs would cover most of the screen anyways even if it was a beautiful game. 3DS has it all. 2 screens, touch screen, stylus built in, great graphics, and it is portable. It may be the best hand held console ever made. No cell phone comes close.

Guy, I hear you 100%. I hate the lack of depth and forced microtransactions in cell games. And I have yet to find one I would pay money for. I play my 3DS religiously and I would never look back. I only wish the Wii U gamepad would work around corners. I would play deus ex in bed every night.
So true about the fast processing harming the image quality. I noticed that too. Another gripe about Xbox One is no 3D Bluray right now. PS4 doesn't have it either, but it really should be in there. I don't game in 3D (now that you talked about the 3D lag, Im glad I didn't) but I watch a lot of 3D documentaries. So its a real bummer.
I would love a Vita/PS4 bundle to come to Canada. That's what I'm waiting for.
Gamers must be expecting more. We have been spoiled lately. Every year just gets better and better quality games. Unfortunately the hype usually ruins a good game by overstating what the game will bring. Overhyped and underdelivered seems to tank a lot of reviews.
