Since when do casual gamers not care about price? I always assumed a 'Casual Gamer' meant someone who plays games on their Iphone and maybe has a console kicking around.
God of War has a pretty generous fanbase and is almost a household name. The comparisons aren't a bad thing.
Too bad considering Castlevania was on pretty much every console Nintendo ever made. I wouldn't say that Nintendo missing this particular title bodes ill, but it does glaringly show that 3rd party devs are at odds with Ninty at the moment.
What would be the system seller though? Halo? This is a pretty hyped exclusive. In fact, Id say the most hyped by the Xcamp by far. X1 has some good games coming down the pipe, but I would have to say this one is tagged as a system seller.

Square has been sitting on too many good IPs for the 3ds and Wii U. If anything, I'd say ditch Tomb Raider and start some Final Fantasy on the Ninty platforms again.

Games sell consoles, bra. If the Wii U isn't doing so well, why not throw some game support their way? It could benefit both Next Level and Nintendo. Or even a cross platform experience would be nice, 3ds and Wii U. Nintendo needs to bring more to Wii U, not less. And if Next Level is already willing to work on the Wii U, I say let them at it.
X1 is fine. It'll bounce back just like the 3ds. Games bring in the gamers.

I absolutely agree. I never understood the hate either. Rogue Squadron Rebels was one of the best games I have ever played. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy was great as well. SO many great games. And I have yet to find a good emulator. So sad.
Sounds like a tweaking rather than a tune up. All things in good time I suppose. I would like to be able to play 3d BluRay sometime soon.
Its a really good game with great fan service. Its definitely worth a looksee if you haven't already.
Ive put quite a few hours in and I would love to start a new character/race. Im not a fan of Elder Scrolls fees either.
Ps-I like the Punisher handle. If you've ever read some really old War Zone, you'll know who Johnny Tower is.
Screw Elder Scrolls Online, I would kill to play an enhanced version of Skyrim. That is the one true game I would say is the pinnacle of the last generation of consoles.

There is no doubt nobody likes to be compared to another. But its easier to compare it to a staple of the genre than maybe something more esoteric. That's all I meant. I loved GOW so I can see me getting behind this one as well. See? Its working already ;)
