Just a hint: These drivers have a Framelimiter option (that is hidden and is not shown in the Control Panel) ;)

Its concept would not work on consoles. This is a community-based game, which means that is developed with the help of its community. It could be ported when it's finished though

I've heard that the code of the GamersGate version can be activated via Steam

Yeap, glad that Bohemia is supporting it :D

Nope. In June they'd released a different, blurry image. This is a brand new one

Oh boy, if it's anything like BLACK then we are in for a treat. Can't believe how a PS2 title had such destructible environments and most modern-day shooters can't even come close to it

AMD had lots of issues with OpenGL (which was pretty evident in RAGE). Fortunately though, with the release of the latest drivers (that among other things add support for OpenGL 4.2) those issues are resolved

That's what so great about it to be honest, this whole 'game' between them. I mean, I wasn't really looking forward to these new cards but now my interest has been increased. The fact that Radeon 7970 will also be officially unveiled in a couple of days is a plus. Damn, I'm excited :D

Actually, there hasn't been any 100% performance boost over the last few generations. You might be mistaking it with a 1.6 performance boost (that some companies give) which basically translates to 60% better performance.

There were some odd occasions where we had a 100% boost but that were at really high resolutions with lots of AA levels (that had basically an impact on the vRam of GPUs and that's why they were held behind).

There were two cards tha...

Doubt it that we'll be able to run Ray-Tracing games. However, I'm really looking forward to proper DX11 in which LOD will be calculated via tessellation. This would eliminate the pop-ups and the changes between low and high poly-count objects/characters

This is the high-end model so my guess is that it will be around $500-700 USD. We'll find out in a few days. Oh boy, so excited about it :D

Easter eggs. There was a dino toy in the SP mode of BF3 and DICE included them in Bark to Karkand as easter eggs

Dude they are not even an indie gaming studio. It's a project from some students and it puts to shame a lot of commercial games. For all we know, they might give it for free when they are done

There are other subtle changes too, like SSAO that can be noticed in some screenies ;)

The Last Of Us looked really great - even for PC standards. Naughty Dog is really talented, that's for sure

Like MagicAccent, even N4G could shut down. This is serious guys

Yeah, doubt it will be locked at 30fps. Besides, even if it's locked, some mod will find a way to unlock it ;)

True.dat. The modders really did an amazing work. Really curious to see with what they'll come up with if GTA5 is mod-friendly

Hopefully it will be more optimized than ArmA 2 or Take On Helicopters

If DICE introduced proper modeled and highly detailed dinos, I'd be all over it (big dino fan here :P )
