Let's be honest, graphics do matter. Everyone prefers gameplay over graphics, but graphics do matter. Otherwise we wouldn't have our Tri-SLI systems and we would all keep playing 8bit games :P

Though I agree that not every Skyrim mod should be posted, these past days we got some must-have graphical mods that literally transform Skyrim. It's not happening every day, so those modders really deserve the spotlight for their hard work

Similar to the vanilla ENBSeries. If there is a bigger hit, edit the .ini file and disable SSAO (in case it's enabled by default)

Precisely. It's a nice change since most - if not all of - ENBSeries mods are full of bloom and blurry post-processing effects

The problem here is that both SkyBoost and TESV Acceleration Layer are not perfect solutions. There are good workarounds, but the game would benefit from some proper optimization from Bethesda
