Can you imagine buying some hyped games of this gen for 80 bucks. I mean 60 dollar Asscrud unity was a burn. But if I had paid anymore than that I would be full of nerd rage.
Until publishers and developers are doing all they can to push out the best possible games consistently, with less need for day one patches, I can't get behind a rate hike.

You are familiar with the Fighter Squadron game mode right? It isn'T available in the beta, but it is a game mode on release.
At the end off the day (actually only a few hours time with the beta) the lack of a story mode is probably going to make me wait to pick this one up. When stacked against everything else releasing around the same time this will get put on the back burner for me. A campaign would have made it a day one purchase for me.

Worth mentioning that Uncharted Collection was on the market for a few days of the week. Coming in 2nd for a few days is quite good going up against FIFA

When did the Uncharted collection drop in Japan? If it was a world wide release on 10/9 I would say that is selling pretty darn well. Number 5 in just a few days on the market.
Edit it was 10/5-10/11 so yeah just 2 days on the market debut at #5. Pretty great for a western game
I picked up Knack for 15 bucks on a recent PSN sale. I know a lot of people didn't like it, but for 15 bucks I don't feel like I got ripped off.
Did you happen to review the games when they were new? I am just curious, because it seems like several reviewers give remaster lower scores.
Take God of War3 for example. Great reviews when it first came out, the remaster didn't get the same applause for certain. I don't really understand that. The game at it's core is identical and usually a bit more pretty and smoother running, so how could it be less?

On topic, I do believe that it could be a system seller, but also some advertising would help. A friend of mine and I were shooting game chat and he was unaware of the Drake collection and had not played them before and felt he couldn't get U4 without playing the previous games.
It's actually 3 games in the Uncharted Drakes collection which leads me to believe you do not own a PS4 or the game collection, and are just trolling.
Thought for sure that they would wait to announce this at a conference. Bigger things on the horizon.

I don't think a 10buck increase will be enough for them though considering how adopted the season pass has become with publishers. Games like COD get 60 + another 50 for the season pass bringing it up to 110 if the person opted for it. Makes the 10 dollar increase seem pretty small.
