Most excellent news. I for one will welcome our new insect overlords... er I mean All Hail Mantel.

it could be bad - basically it means the ESA doesn't have 100% support anymore from the industry so it's bargining powers are lessened.
otoh it means Activision can now work without the ESA and it's rivals looking over it's shoulders. Which usually means - a big surprise to come from them.

Hope so... it's what my Doctorate says.....

probably why I find this so fascinating. Memristors ^_^

lithographic in the same manner all circuits are - so no additional manufacturing costs but material makeup is slightly more expensive.

oh even now the amount of Ram we have leads to messy coding...
They teach at most universities algorithm and design courses speed > space considerations. Computer Science orginally started out with consideration of space >= speed for algorithms.

though we still do teach that inplace algorithms are better than extra storage algorithms in most cases - with the exception of things like Dynamic Programming which swaps (some) space for speed when it uses memoization (y...

Hmm Tekken 5 comes to mind - and yes it has online play

I would mostly agree with that but I would add Mario Zelda and Metroid to the list of games that bore.... Nintendo has not had an original game in 15 years. And I would remove "No More Heroes" - it actually is somewhat of a revelation to the Nintendo Universe.

It's why I suggest a non numeric rating system - doesn't imply perfection but it can imply superlative/exceptional games.

no worries about attacking ^_^
If someone disagrees they disagree with my rating.

and yes hype and advertising budgets do tend to determine a paid review more than it does for direct uncompensated reviews.

It definitely is a great game though - worthy of most any video game library. -It's just not perfect-

This is hardcore harsh
it's like Capcom is trying to erase the existance of Studio Clover

I would say goodbye primary and secondary storage is more accurate!

combine the two into superstorage (with the DRAM speed it should be possible) - Imagine a terrabyte of ram to play around with.....
Cache otoh still will have to exist....

Biggest Issue I think is the evil
Sony Information Bar
that thing is a plague on developers...(and hopefully fixed eventually)

*sends off another angry email to the firmware developer group....*

Uhm PC gaming has never experienced this???
you obviously have not lived through the MAC/Windows holy wars or the Linux/Unix wars...

Hmm and Sony is saying 13 million world wide already... VGchartz is like reading tea leaves... some times they guess right, other times what the hell are they drinking.

I love FM games.. FM3 was my favorite so far. Was hoping to see on on a nextgen console (preferably PS3) but this is good.

->spoiler Front Mission 3<-
Anyone else ever sad that you had to pick one person to save and could not save both in FM3 at the end?

The game as they call it is more of a wine tasteing learning application - much more sophisticated culturally than what they imply.

you know... after seeing the racketeering Namco is doing on this game I am not sure I am sad that it hasn't made it to the PS3 yet...

holy cats man... to get all the DLC so far you it would have cost as much as 3 games. Which I am sure you would have gotten more fun out of!

I really wonder if those who are experiencing the crash are those who have the Sony Information Bar still turned on...
that thing makes the PS3 stable like a tipsy sailor....
