it could be bad - basically it means the ESA doesn't have 100% support anymore from the industry so it's bargining powers are lessened.
otoh it means Activision can now work without the ESA and it's rivals looking over it's shoulders. Which usually means - a big surprise to come from them.

I would mostly agree with that but I would add Mario Zelda and Metroid to the list of games that bore.... Nintendo has not had an original game in 15 years. And I would remove "No More Heroes" - it actually is somewhat of a revelation to the Nintendo Universe.
It's why I suggest a non numeric rating system - doesn't imply perfection but it can imply superlative/exceptional games.

The game as they call it is more of a wine tasteing learning application - much more sophisticated culturally than what they imply.
you know... after seeing the racketeering Namco is doing on this game I am not sure I am sad that it hasn't made it to the PS3 yet...
holy cats man... to get all the DLC so far you it would have cost as much as 3 games. Which I am sure you would have gotten more fun out of!
