This is a duplicate, right? How much more detailed can you than the official video and details outed by the Wall Street Journal earlier this week?
I think a lot of people would agree with that, but the same percentage of people would agree that 320 MS points for some extra space in Halo's Bungie Pro services are not a needed expense either.
Some of this service is free from Activision, just as it is free from Bungie.
Never use HipHopGamer as a valid source. He's a cool guy and all that, but he posts a lot of false speculations as valid material.
I think I'll pick up this service, because I'm interested in my statistics enough to do so. This is an MLG series on the PlayStation 3, and for those serious about improving their game, this is a good idea.
I already intend on purchasing every map expansion, as I have for years, because I like to have a complete title. I do this for the Halo series as well.
A video now exists to go with this post, on another posting at ROQ: http://www.reviewsonq.com/2...
I don't know that it matters commercially what Activision does this round, but what they do will effect next round greatly. It's time for that knockout punch.
I agree, but it could simulate something like "find edges" in Photoshop, then move them right and left. It's not impossible, but it would definitely have to be something I see with my own eyes.
You could do it at a retail chain like Walmart or ASDA.
Yeah, this is pretty awesome.
Who isn't ready for the next generation? it's a whole slew of graphical improvements.
Hilarious nostalgia here.
Probably the same amount of people who purchase Beta codes over Ebay. At least what they own right now is worth the money to them. Buying the whole pack might not be necessary now.
I'm talking as though Nintendo has failed because Nintendo has admitted to not living up to Hardcore gamer's expectations. Most of their software is shovelware, made by the same handful of developers. Where is Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil, L.A. Noire, or Mortal Kombat for Wii? Third party developers don't want to degrade their product for the console, unless they already planned to for PS2 or can throw away money.
Their direction right now is to bring back the audience by bringing back all the elements you've described. They want to return to a Gamecube direction, which then included Resident Evil and other mature rated titles in tandem with their signature Zelda, Mario, etc..
I agree. It's all hype-train, but you'll see that sort of review from a major reviewer as they only really delve into the single player experience so that they can slap out a review as quickly as possible, where I try and get in at least a day or two of multi player to make sure it's clean and fun therein.
There is definitely room for improvement in the franchise. The multi player experience currently dives sales, but as quality in content doesn't really vary from title to title in this generation, users will look elsewhere for spice. You'll see a downward trend in sales with Modern Warfare 3 if Battlefield 3 gets any decent promotion.
I agree that MW2 may not have had the most compelling storyline - I personally felt as though Black Ops had better Single Player - the Modern Warfare 2 multi player was superior until it was run away with by hacks. I personally can't wait until Modern Warfare 3 comes out to weigh it directly against Battlefield in the review. This will be a heads-up review. Get ready.
The PlayStation 3 and PSP can go online now. Don't bet on the systems being corrupted after this string of Sony issues is resolved.
Right, and all the details of the service are therein. This, plus the written details given by the Wall Street Journal hours ago.
