Both of those were mine personally.
Lets just hope that this break builds more quality in the next title.
The system is actually more powerful than a PS3 and Xbox 360, but most videos shown were of games on the competitor's consoles. Like most titles, you won't see better graphics unless they were designed to work on that console and scaled down for the crappier ones.
Titles like Battlefield 3, Dirt 3, and Need for Speed: The Run will look great on the Wii U, taking the most of what the hardware has to offer.
This is not complex hardware. That's just the point. Same controller layout as Xbox and PS, with the same hardware architecture - running a similar processor with more kick as the 360.
That thing is stupid expensive looking, but it probably won't be more than 100. 40 bucks more than existing rates for a decent Wii set.
Got to agree with this. It seemed like that was one of the few times I was really 'Wow'd' by MS this run, even though the technology exists already.
They did mention that about the other Kinect talk features. I can't see talking in Mass Effect with the Kinect Mic when you'll already be wearing a mic to play online.
Nah, you can use either that Kinect mic or your own.
This is both true and false. If by exclusives you mean titles that are not available on any other service aside from these platforms, than possibly. If we're talking EA has Madden and Steam doesn't, no one will really care because they can pick that up on a console.
I don't think so. Steam will still run the show, but you'll download this client to pick up The Old Republic if you're too lazy to buy a physical copy, then uninstall it if it isn't completely needed.
Yeah, Sonic is great in the Sonic 1-4 sense. I didn't much care for him in 3D iterations.
I certainly should hope it will get better dev support, as the transition from PS3 to NGP is said to be easy. The question is only if developers are going to shell out all of their titles for the handheld and the PS3. If they get into that trend, you'll have the serious market versus the more child-like in NGP vs 3DS respectively.
I don't know about that. I think it has it's advantages, but if you're looking to pick up a games console, it's probably not one of them.
I used mine primarily for post-production firmware modification so that I could run emulators of old games on the go, or watch movies, surf the net, and play music. There was no real reason for someone to purchase a title if they did modify the firmware, but I purchased mine before the DSi existed. In today's market, I d...
It's funny that Yoshida pretty much details that the PSP was crap.
You should also understand that this IS PlayStation Life.
I'm sure you've heard of the Spanish phrase, "la vita loca"
This means "The crazy life"
Life being the operative word here, PlayStation Vita is PlayStation Life. It's becoming a part of your everyday LIFE style as much as your cellular phone is - which is the market Sony understands it's competing with beyond Nintendo at the forefront.
The article has been written for those who lost their titles, but includes Sony's official response from the PlayStation Blog.
Additionally, how can this kind of error happen - really? Why do I have to use a backward way of redeeming when the typical way should work just as well?
Yep, and though the custom theme doesn't suck, the sounds that come along inside the theme really get annoying.
If you do not have the same icons for your redemption of the PS3 titles "1 and 2" anymore, then yes. I lost my first PS3 title download entirely, then waited forever for the second icon to work.
