If the graphics are the only thing getting you excited you might be disappointed in this game.
From what I gather its going to be an interactive story where your character is basically on rails with you inputting only at certain moments. It doesn't sound like its going to have any open world free-roaming to it or anything like that.

Originally upon reading the title I thought they were implying trophy requirements were harder than achievement requirements. From actually reading the article though, I agree that showing different levels of achievements is more indicative of their difficulty than just a raw score. Perhaps Microsoft could display a star or medal or something by each achievement to show how hard it was to obtain.

Is God of War 3 confirmed for next year? I went to gamespot and they say the release date is TBA. I think that right now its more of a fervent hope that it comes out next year.

They gave gta4 a 10/10. obviously that was the best scoring game for 360, so it's logical it got the award. MGS4 also got a 10/10 but was PS3 exclusive so gamespot gave it to them. I guess what I'm saying is that GTA4 was such an outstanding game to them that it beat out the exclusive 360 titles that were also good. I'm guessing Gta4 is going to be their game of the year (for all platforms of course), though MGS4 might snag it.

Anyways, Im happy about the sales. 100k in a day is pretty good. I wonder if the low famitsu score somehow hampered sales though.

Though I gotta say this game rips off Ninja Gaiden extensively. What I much rather would of seen from From is a new game in the same vein as Otogi. That game was simply gorgeous, and with next-gen graphics it would be incredible. Despite that, I still hope this game turns out good.
You know that would be pretty cool if that was the case. Really though, the game looks way better than this. Just watch the yakuza 3 movie in HD on gametrailers. Definitely looking forward to this.

What I meant is the character design is uninspired, and the dungeon crawling looks exactly like FFXII. Heck even the monster design looks like FF. Also, did you see the little furry guy? Just tell me thats not a moogle ripoff.

The fact that it plays like FFXII doesn't really bother me. After all that was for the most part, a well executed fighting system. What I don't like is that it even LOOKS extremely similar to above mentioned game. Level 5's games used to stand out visually with their different graphical styles, and so far with the footage I've seen, it looks too much like Final Fantasy. GENERIC Final Fantasy.
Totally. Otogi was one of the best games for the xbox period. Maybe even one of the best for the entire last generation.

Yeah you're right about Ps3 having more exclusives than 360 atm. I think microsoft is probably hoping that the third party multi-plat games will still convince people to buy a 360. Resident Evil 5, the new skate, fear 2, godfather 2, tekken 6, theres alot of high caliber games coming out next year that aren't exclusive. \ but with a lower price point, the 360 is the cheapest way to play those games. To be honest some of my most anticipated games of next year are multi platform.
