Yes, perhaps the majority of game site writers are actually, "gasp" gamers. Perhaps they don't all pledge allegiance to the system their site supports, and refuse to even touch the opposition. Fanboys need to stop playing the victim by assuming that everyone hates them.

The man makes several valid points on why MS should not include blu-ray in its immediate plans. After all they didn't include an HD-DVD drive to begin with, because of its cost and uncertain future.
I feel the same way. If I say anything at all negative that is PS3 related I almost always get multiple disagrees. I don't know if that means there are more Sony fanboys or not, but thats just in my experience. I'm not biased one way or the other, as I've also commented negatively about MS. My preference is actually the PS3 right now.

Yes I guess you could say that, but still a 7% console share is significantly better than what the original Xbox accomplished.
I don't think the Xbox will ever be fully embraced as a whole by japan, but I think its presence will grow with future generations if MS continues to market it there.
First of all Sony shouldn't have spent so much time to simply create a virtual chatroom. If that is what they intended then I think they failed. The interface is clumsy and unless you have a keyboard or keyboard attachment for your controller, simple conversations can be a huge pain.

Anyway, the PS3s slight lead does not surprise me, seeing as the PS brand is more internationally known for gaming. The 360 is starting to make an inroad though and that cannot be denied.
Killzone is looking really good right now and is actually coming pretty close to the original trailer from E3. If I had more interest in shooters, I'd be pretty excited about this one.
That would depend on what you mean by beating it. If you mean just getting through the game, nah, I beat it without a guide in 35 hours.
If you mean completing all the side quests and getting everything though, yeah itd be nearly impossible without a guide.

Who effin cares about maxing out anyway? The Xbox was better graphically than PS2 from day one yet the PS2 outsold it more than 5 to 1. Cripes look at Persona 4 just coming out. That game is obviously dated, yet people still like it.

About the only use of Sixaxis im interested in is Flower. That game/visual trip seems like it will actually make good use of the controls. Every other game Ive played with it (not that many to be honest) has been more of an annoyance than an enhancer.
