I have to agree with you there. Personally I don't get the fascination with handheld devices, and feel handhelds have way too much focus. As soon as I saw E3 was going to be a Vita and 3Ds fest I lost all interest in watching.
Part of me wishes touch screens and motion controllers were never invented. Maybe its showing my age, but give me a regular controller any day.
