I bet it will. Loved DiRT2 and can't wait for the sequel.
I love Gran Turismo, but as a damage model it is plain ridiculous. Look at GRID or DiRT2, that's a damage model.
Anyway, day one purchase for me.
Yeah, I said SR2 was fun.
But RDR is fun AND has a polished gameplay AND has way better production values AND has a deep background AND has decent multiplayer, etc.
Maybe SR3.
SR2 was fun, but RDR beats it on every aspect, by far. And, about the lame question:
Are realism and immersion really that necessary?
Realism IS NOT necessary at all, it's just a design option. A good game is a good game, realistic or cartoony. And immersion is always a good thing, who doubts it?
Because CrystalDynamics -> Eidos -> SquareEvil has the rights over the franchise.
Soul Reaver... I dream of a HD remake/sequel. Damn, it was even better than Uncharted!
LOL, this would be most hated game EVER. Maybe some co-op multiplayer action brings some fun... OH, WAIT!
This is not news, just lame advertising.
Grid and Dirt2 are great, but OFp:DR was utter crap on consoles (good on PC though).
This can be truly EPIC!
I slightly prefer Tekken X SF (Tekken-style gameplay) over SF X Tekken. And you?
The previous "new" redesign for iF2 SUCKED a lot. I like Cole from iF1, they shouldn't change him much.
In interactive real time, buildings collapsing along with 15 characters with its dynamic IA and animation, light & shadows, long draw distance, big scale explosions, smoke and heat-wave filter, 5.1 audio, stable frame-rate, etc. nobody has surpassed RF:G yet in a game.
Maybe Kinect ends up being a POS, but this article is BIG trolling, and I don't like that. C'mon, give it a chance first.
I agree with the devs, it felt like cheating sometimes. It was so good that I couldn't appreciate the graphics. I think it would be a good idea that it is spent over some time and then it recharges slowly.
We all knew that. The question is, what about spectacularity? Will 3D be worth in spite of the detail drop?
1. MGS4
2. Bioshock
3. Uncharted 2
4. Ratchet & Clank : ACIT
5. LittleBig Planet
It's very hard to make a top 5 list with such a good catalogue. Any of these could be in the list: Killzone 2, RDR, Uncharted, Batman:AA, God of War 3, Demon's Souls, Dead Space, BF:BC2, Darksiders, Fallout 3, R&C:TOD, GTA IV...
Definitely, no MW2 on my top 20.
Good value for HP fans, like me. For everybody else, there are better games out there, maybe not as charming.
Brutal Legend was also a letdown. Art (visual style and music) and voice are genius, but everything else was SO mediocre... It could have been among the best, but it lacked much polish.
Op. Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, for me. OMG, I bought that game and it was DISAPPOINTING.
FF XIII was also a BIG letdown. It's not an awful game (amazing graphics, great music) but it is much worse than previous FF games.
"Can Dirt 3 be better than Gran Turismo 5's rally part?"
YES, it will. DiRT is fun and crazy, and its landscapes and damage model are absolutely gorgeous. BUT whoever judges GT5 for its rally part is plain stupid. Rally is a nice little extra in all the huge awesomeness of Gran Turismo.
So, DiRT3 > GT5's rally, no doubt.
Overall, GT5 >>>>> DiRT3.
