You know MW2 may be the most profitable game ever released, and Activision thanks their loyal fans by rising the price, when they could give it for free because it didn't cost them a sh1t. It's an abuse you should not tolerate, for gaming's sake!
Moreover, IW do nothing to fix the wild imbalance in some perks and killstreaks combinations, which ruined the game some time ago.

If you have played MAG, you know why. It is a very fun shooter that only lacks some variety in the scenery. And the graphics are pretty good indeed, more impressive than MW2 imo, which doesn't even have HDR lighting and it makes all look like atrezzo.
Not only great but the best modern shooters. MAG has been strongly underrated. Just one thing, BC2 has the best sound design to date.
BC2 is the best shooter around, along with MAG. Just wait for the servers to settle down one more week. Anyway, in PS3 it runs silky. BC2 FTW!!
I thought Final would look much better than Demo, but from what I see there's not much difference. Demo has more contrast and some textures have more resolution (OMG, look at the harpy). I suppose they did it for FPS' sake. On the other hand, Final has better lighting and other assets have an extra layer of shaders, like the titans in the background. And I think they have added motion blur (Demo didn't have it), which consumes a lot of resources.

As you say, many games can be played by both casual and hardcore gamers. I totally agree with you.
However, there are games that can't be played hardcore unless you have an obsesive-compulsive disorder, because they are not designed that way: they just don't have enough depth, content or challenge.
On the other hand, there are games that, unless you dedicate a pretty big amount of hours in mastering them, there is no chance you could go further.

Because MAG fans might feel betrayed. Anyway, didn't you have enough AAA shooters recently? KZ2, MW2, MAG and the just released BFBC2. Who cares now? They should have waited until they had near-beta status in my opinion.

EA has become a beloved company, and they earned that by investing in creative games like Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, Brutal Legend and Bad Company 2.
I'm afraid they don't plan to release any more map packs.
