I'm fed up with fanboyism. This IS NOT my opinion, only facts from a professional computer engineer:

-360 version has more dense fog effects. This is not good nor bad.
-360 version Depth Of Field effect is better because it also blurs the edges. PS3's does not.
-360 has better lighting and shadows on transparent surfaces, such as glass and foliage.
-PS3 has lower resolution on transparent textures due to some alpha-blending related shortcoming (as seen in BioSho...

Not only that, you can't even boot any game. EPIC FAIL

20 years making the SAME games again and again, WTF?

They haven't released any GOOD game since Sakaguchi and Uematsu left the company. Download FF7 and FF8 from PSN if you want true Final Fantasy glory.

Unless they find a revolutionary new way of using motion control, it would remain for dumb wii-like casual games only. Natal is way worse in this aspect as it has no buttons to press for the complex inputs needed for serious games. Natal is not very different from EyeToy, except for the marketing budget, so you can guess it will be just a curiosity.

Obviously, they are aiming for Wii market, not even think of converting hardcore base. Sony could take Arc further and make motion ...

Memorable maps and ambient, great sound and no major glitches, but it lacks the depth of MW2 which has tons of unlockables and killcam (I LOVE killcam). After all, I do prefer KZ2 and even Battlefield 1943 to MW2 stupid gameplay with stupid cheaters.

How does such a kind of hardcore game has become so flooded with brats?

How the hell do people find funny breaking the game for everyone else just to get their XP?

MW2 has been doomed by cheaters, I guess it's the price for popularity.

I have been playing MW2 since launch in PS3 and I haven't come across any noticeable glitch or exploit. The only issues I found in MW2 mp is some levels design and connection loss too often. I find MW2 to be very polished in every sense (graphics, sound, controls, options, depth, etc.) and totally playable on consoles, so stop badmouthing IW, because they did their job. Look at Operation Flashpoint 2, that WAS gold (pre-release trailers) turned utter sh!t (the ugly truth CM shipped).

I've been playing MW2 every day since release on my PS3 and I haven't come across any noticeable glitch/exploit apart from some friend-boosting and fast-nuking.

On the other hand, I'm already fed up with the mindless, stupidily fast gameplay. I traded it in for BF:BC2 yesterday, and hope that will be my only online shooter for looooong time (along with the hectic Bioshock2).

This game is mesmerizing: graphics, music... And an old school challenge too. Buy it.

If you see the same that I do, PC is the worst version of all! Sure, it is the most sharp, but look at it, is f*cking jagged! On the other hand, the best version might be PS3 because it is the only one that has some AA and also the best DOF, although it looks blurry and has the shortest shadow draw distance. The X360 is also very good: more jagged than PS3, less blurry and more shadow draw distance. I wonder why lighting looks so different (but both good) between consoles.

PC the...

X360 version uses a cheap trick to "blur" the edges, while in PS3 they actually do it. Look at the protagonist's hands in this picture:

More details:

Depth Of Field better on X360. For example, look at the up-right tree in:

Also X360 screenshot is too bright so you lose the details of the wall.

They are nearly identical. Only in detail close-ups PS3 is slightly better. For example, look at the shadow map in protagonist's hands:

I've just bought it and graphics remind me those of F.E.A.R. It looks like Monolith's old engine.
