Agreed. I remember listening to Chris Grant on the Joystiq podcast a few years ago and he seemed more interested in talking about carpentry than video games. He didn't seem to realize that he was on a video game podcast!
Sure the X1 will have some great exclusives for the first couple of years and just like the 360 gameplan, we will all be left twiddling our thumbs with no exclusives while MS focuses on Illumiroom instead of games.

I bought the Vita because I knew I was getting a PS4. Loving every minute of both consoles. Connecting the two is seamless with barely any lag and it stays connected throughout the whole house.

Knocking on wood, everything seems to be fine. Played AC4 for 3 hours and the PS4 ran perfectly.
It seems to me a lot of the reports today are people complaining about Amazon and their horrible packing job. I received mine yesterday and they had the air bags on top and nothing protecting the console on the bottom except the thin layer of cardboard. Luckily the box doesn't look damaged but I haven't had a chance to set the console up yet. I am praying it works.

It's about time a console got a great space sim. I really am hoping it's colony wars. They could do some amazing things with the PS4. It would be awesome if it was something along the lines of battlestar galactica where you had a base ship.
