You really think they are going to drop massive amounts of cash for a buyout when they have investors clamoring for them to drop the Xbox division and focus on business solutions? MS has bought the first one and that in turn will drive a higher Xbox attach rate over the PS4 version plus the rumored COD-like DLC exclusive period.
They are not losing money but money is left on the table. It's basic common sense.
You do realize that EA is the loser in this equation. They were not expecting the PS4 to outsell the One 2:1. If this pace continues it will be a colossal business blunder.
Sorry MS, if you continue to get outsold 2 to 1, securing exclusivity is not going to happen. I wonder if there was a back door clause with EA regarding low sales and the right to exclusivity.

Most everyone in the industry (including EA) thought the next Xbox was going to crush it until they actually announced the thing. EA was probably like sure we will take your money and we will have an exclusive on the lead console. Bad business decisions happen.
Awesome. They supposedly designed a console around Kinect and made it integral to the design but now they are dropping it. Microsoft is a shining example of conviction and follow through this generation.

keeping a mental note of all of the people saying this game will fail now but when TitanFall 2 comes to PS4 it will be the greatest.
Titanfall is going to be great and I am really looking forward to it but listening to some people, it's like this game is going to change videogames forever.
regarding the CU's it's called Yield and that's why they have 12. Same as the PS4 starting with 20 and now has 18.
It's pretty sad that you would choose to not get a console purely based on the fan base rather than the games. With that mindset why don't you get a WiiU, those fans are the underdogs right now.
