@familyguy You will notice that Microsoft uses a lot of buzz words to fool the populace. The Cloud being used to make game look better, Tiled Rendering, "always connected". The list goes on.
This got me thinking, when was the last time I went into a game store and browsed the games by looking at the backs in order to decide what I wanted. All the info is online and if I do go to the store I already know what I want. I remember as a kid going in and spending hours trying to decide what I wanted.

I don't understand why people were underwhelmed by this gameplay reveal. We only saw a small snippet and it looks freaking amazing! Have gamers become that jaded and nitpicky now?

Well if Amazon is trying to get in, that is going to prompt Apple and Google to go in as well. This could be the over saturation that leads to collapse.
If they did offer a digital game to the 1st adopters that would go a long way. I just don't MS is thinking like that. They are just trying to keep their heads above water and desperately slashing prices to stay in the game.
