@channel live When you say finance I think you mean an exclusive money hat that Microsoft provided. It's not like they gave money out of the kindness of their heart or Kickstarted this game.
It's not the Dev's fault at all. It's Square's fault for even considering an exclusive deal with Microsoft. By the time the majority of people will be able to get their hands on this game next year it will be eclipsed by another mega AAA game. I wouldn't be surprised if Square decided to release the PS4 version the same day that Horizon comes out.
I'm sure Square is loving the fact that Rise of the Tomb Raider only sold 300k on Xbox one. That effectively ended any exclusive deals they will be doing with Microsoft in the future.
Kind of defeats the purpose of a world premiere if we have seen gameplay already. I can see a multiplayer or gameplay reveal for the first time but this just waters down the meaning of world premiere.

Yeah, they say the new one will be a continuation of 3 which no one outside of Japan has played unless you know Japanese. Hopefully 2 and 3 will be considered the DLC they had mentioned.
This is awesome! Was hoping for 2 and 3 as well, but maybe that is what the DLC is.
It's not suprising. I find it funny that these companies boast that these games will sell millions, yet they can't prepare the servers for those millions. I feel that EA in particular does it as a veiled boast that "they just can't keep up with the demand for their game". I gaurantee that Battlefield 5 will have the same issues as 3 and 4.
By far the best PS Plus game this year. It still is one of those games that will suck away the hours.

If Square was disappointed by the reboot only selling approx. 5 million how do you think they are going to react to approx. 300K during the most important week (that being the first week of sales). That's for all the people saying they didn't screw up.
