When I tried it at PSX it was surprisingly comfortable and felt well-built. It did make me feel a little wobbly after but not too bad considering the last time I tried it was in the mid 90's with those archaic VR setups.
Then you will have to save up for that $3,000 devkit Hololens if you want that Holodeck.
I'm hoping $300 only the headset and maybe $350-$400 bundle with camera, move controller and maybe a game.
Excited for this. Hope it turns out well.
Deal with it!
@King trash 360 it's not this generation that's entitled, you are just seeing more of them because of social media. When you grow up you will start seeing that there are entitled man-babies everywhere in the real world.
It does seem like everything is coming to the PS4.
Funny, I was getting Romeo earlier.
I have been playing the Beta after playing it at PSX and it is indeed pretty fun. Definitely a game that relies on good communication and teamwork. Was going to buy but this is even better news.
It's ridiculous that these companies play dumb and act surprised saying that the servers are down because of overwhelming demand. They know exactly how much demand there will be because they are monitoring preorders and forecasting sales. If not, they are not doing their jobs. Just bending over and saying "Welcome to online games" is pathetic and embarrassing. There is no excuse for these companies.
Let's have this discussion about every frickin game that comes out. That sounds amazing.
Microsoft, release a remake or new Crimson Skies and all will be forgiven. It might even entice me to buy an Xbox, unless it's also coming to PC and in that case I won't buy one.
I can list numerous turds from Microsoft that are the furthest thing from quality. They were just trying to cash in. Let's see....anything related to Kinect and Perfect Dark Zero are just a couple examples.
Perfect, play this up to the launch of Uncharted 4.
@Morganfell what money? They just cancelled a game that was almost fully developed. The only way to really recoup that investment is to sell the game. I would say MS is at a loss doing this.
Like the article said and many people seem to not like to think of is how do the developers optimize for one console with so many variations. Either MS only gives a few options for gpu upgrades to lessen the fractured player base or they would just make a costly MS branded PC. I would rather build my own PC at that point as it gives you much more flexibility. MS has been desperate to emulate Apple for years so maybe they are trying for the hardware refresh every couple years in which case the...
There are quite a lot of people that have capable PCs and building one is simple. It's a matter of picking the right parts and fitting them together. Building a computer now days isn't as difficult as it used to be. Anyone with an inkling of tech know how could do it.
Xbox didn't win this generation or have the market share they once had but it is still making a profit. That's what investors care about.
I was sold on this when last night I swung from a lamp pole while dropping a grenade on someone and then taking out his charging friends.
I would love discussing the actual game rather than having a discussion about whiny entitled gamers complaining about a game that models the entire galaxy costing $60 when they haven't even played it yet.
